Solid, divey-bar lunch spot. Decent, large burger. Nothing fancy, but cooked as ordered. Waitress customized a side to my request. She was friendly, and good on drinks — kept my Diet Coke glass full. It is smokey, and divey. No false pretense here. I was comfortable.

Favorite dive bar is Bethlehem! It is small and can be cramped, but you can’t beat it!

Ripper’s is cool because it has two rooms. The one«dining» area and then the main bar. Sometimes, esp in the summer and during Musikfest, it’s get overly crowded and becomes a hassle when you have to use the bathroom or even get to the next room. Overall, it’s a hole in the wall, it’s a good time esp in a group of people. I like pub like bars over dance/clubs anyway.

Not a regular, go somewhere else. Dirty, cramped, sticky bar and tables, and wacky(not in a good way). Better places in Bethlehem.

Went back to Rippers, been there 3 times now. This time it was packed from all the people that had lost power due to Sandy. People were plugging in their cell phone charges and staying warm. Even with the large crowd service was still good and efficient. The previous times I was there just for drinks. This time I had a burger and an order of the poppers, both were very tasty. They had simple service on paper plates, not sure if that is normal or because of the crowd but it was fine by me. And the price is right. I think the burger was something like $ 5.50. Beers were about $ 3, even the scotch was inexpensive.

A dive-y Irish pub in its truest sense. This is a great place to stop and have a relaxed beer and a good time. The location is extremely small, so you experience may be a bit cramped in this two room establishment. There is a small dining room with booths and a tight bar area. However, if boozing is what you came for, you won’t miss your mark. If you’re looking for a dining experience, «bar food» is all they have to offer and you might be better off choosing another establishment. Surprisingly, for a small dive bar, Ripper’s offers free Wi-Fi to its customers.

This fun small dive spot is located in the basement of a condo/office building. A bit cramped with lots of wood paneling and booths. Beers were cheap $ 2 on draft and the crowd was relaxed. We will return if in the area again!

A few years ago my wife and I attempted to eat at Rippers. We walked in, sat down waited 15 minutes without seeing anyone and left. After a viewing this evening my daughter and I decided to try this place out again. This time my daughter and I walked in sat down, waited 15 minutes without seeing anyone and left. Roosevelts took my money with good food and service. I was really looking forward to some grilled wings but without ANY service this place will not get my business.
