Mi Chong’s

When they first opened many years back the food was decent. Never great, but decent. However in recent years and more recently the quality and taste of the food has been steadily declining. Much better options in the area, don’t waste your time of money.

I placed an online order with them almost 2 hours ago. So, I called the restaurant to see why I had such a lengthy wait time. They had told me that — despite my money being taken from my account — they had not received my order and do not deliver to my area. When I asked for a refund, they told me to «call the company» repeatedly. Meanwhile, this «company» does not have any contact information anywhere.
These people are thieves. Do not order from their restaurant.

I ordered from there and it was awful. All of the food was cold and my chicken literally had only about a tablespoon of mariner sauce. It had two small broccoli florets and about 7 small pieces of chicken. It looked like someone ate half of my dish. They gave a tiny bit of rice for $ 20 worth of food. That doesn’t sound like a lot of food, and it’s not, but if you look at the pic of the rice you will understand. If the food was good I may not have minded as much.
The meat was oddly discolored & after a few bites I knew it did not taste right and smelled awful. I then smelled it and it was terrible. I stopped eating it, but whatever I ate was enough to make me really sick. I am sick as a dog and throwing up. This was honestly the worst food I have ever had in my entire life.

Pretty legit chinese! Delish sesame chicken and veggie lo-​mein! I love the sauce on the sesame chicken, savory and lil bit of tangy! Delivery was quick and accurate and they even tossed in extra fortune cookies !
The menu is expansive and looks terrific! If you are looking for yummy chinese with great service, call Mi Chongs! Fantastic!

I had takeout from here awhile ago and it was excellent! Fresh and hot! I look forward to returning!

Food isn’t very good. It was just simply «ok». The chicken lacked flavor on both of our meals and the sauce was a weird consistency. We’re from out of town but wouldn’t recommend this place.

because our local Chinese place has regressed to the point that I’m starting to think that those jokes about cats and rodents being the main ingredients of this cuisine type might have some truth to them.
We stuck with very basic Americanized choices of Crab Rangoon, General Tso, Sweet & Sour Chicken and Garlic Chicken.
The Rangoon came in the shape of large triangles and they were fried hard. I’m talking crispy to the point of being an oral surgeon’s dream. The filling flavor was good but the question was more could you get to it and still have all your molars when you were done trying?
The S&S and the General Tso were both standard fare that were neither bad but nor were they noteworthy either. The Garlic Chicken was bizarre in that the chicken came cut in thin-​ish strips that were fried hard plus they seemed very greasy/​oily to the point of being almost inedible.
The biggest issue here was the delivery time. Grubhub gives you a loose estimate and most times that I have ordered via their site the delivery window has been an accurate guideline but not this time. This time the delivery window was 45 – 55 minutes.
The food showed up just shy of eighty minutes without explanation or apology which to me certainly puts the kybosh on every doing delivery from here again if not ordering all together since there so many other places close by all peddling the same stuff.

I look how the inside looks! Very tranquil and clean! I LOVE fortune cookies! I was so happy to see the self-​serve packets of those cookies on the counter! The food I ordered from here were great! Fresh and well-​cooked to my taste. I moved here to PA with my fiancé about a couple months ago. I just love how this place is so close by! Great 3 – 4 min drive to the restaurant. Also, the staff working there are extremely friendly!

Service was very fast and the food was fresh and hot. Won ton soup was loaded with dumplings.

Take out wasn’t bad. Pretty quick service. Will come back again.

I would like to say that I was able to try the food but I didn’t even get that far. I placed my order online and after an hour gave the a call. I talked to multiple people, none of whom could confirm my order. Each was rude and completely unprofessional. In the end I was told, «No we did not get your order… CLICK!»

Very tasty! We went in late afternoon. Service was fast, food tastes fresh, and the atmosphere was quiet without being uncomfortable. I’ll definitely be back.

Great chinese food! Fast & cheap!

Get the ginger garlic chicken! It is so good that I will never find out about anything else on the menu. The restaurant is always clean and is nicer inside than most. Service is fast and friendly too. I have gone there with other people who ordered other items on the menu and they were happy too. I drive 12 miles to eat there, so I don’t know about delivery. Well worth the drive.

The locals gave this a best of the valley award or something like that. So I tried it one night. VERY GOOD. First off I went online and found their website. Nicely done and I can order online and pay and get delivery. Better yet, (you have to understand, I do IT security) I can order online and go pick up. No credit card info on their site. WOO HOO. Took me 10 mins to get there and the night I ordered my food was ready. IT was hot when I got it home and tasty.

I was very surprised to see dishes like Buddha Jumps Over the Wall, haven’t seen that in a strip mall Chinese joint before!
Hot and sour soup wasn’t too flavorful.
My coworker loved the wonton soup.
Service is very minimal — order and pay at the counter, food is brought to you on styrofoam plates and soup is brought in a plastic to-​go container. You get your own utensils, sauces, and tea.
Décor is surprisingly modern and the restaurant looked clean.

Mi Chongs has surpassed my expectations by offering online ordering. Yeah! Now you can order directly from their website.
Or, like me, you just know what you want, live nearby, and call or drop in to get the usual.
This is one of the best places for Chinese take-​out in the Bethlehem area. Their prices are reasonable, it’s very clean, and they’re quite friendly. The interior is unique for a take-​out joint. Usually you’re expecting a very gaudy menu with light-​up tacky photos of food dishes at take-​out joints. Not here. It’s very modern and bright with several booths to eat in. That sold me the first time I went here.
Also, the food isn’t overly sauced, the vegetables are fresh, and if they don’t think their vegetable inventory is fresh, they’ll tell you up front a menu option isn’t available. I’d much rather have something not be available than get a questionable meal when I return home. So, thumbs up to Mi Chong’s. It rocks!

Staying at the Sheraton Four Points Airport hotel does not leave you with many options for food.
I made my order online and didn’t have to speak to anyone of the sorts. It was very clear and to the point and it made the whole process that much easier (since sometimes the language barrier creates a bit of rush for me anyways)
Tonights menu consisted of Chicken and Broccoli accompanied with egg drop soup and brown rice.
The chicken was very full flavored and they didn’t skimp out on it and load it with sauce like most places tend to do. The Broccoli was fresh and crisp and flavorful. The brown rice was nice and fresh and sticky and the egg drop soup was think and tasty.
It took about 30 min from order to delivery and everything was worth the time.
I will go back here if ever spending the night near the airport.

This review is for the Mi-Chong’s about 2 miles from the airport. The other location is in Allentown in the Village West Shopping Center at intersection of Tilghman Street and Cedar Crest Blvd. The two locations are 8.5 miles apart.
