Many of the other people on here do not seem to understand that restaurants have waits, or that a restaurant might be busy on Father’s Day. It is ok. Quit being a bi#ch.

After many months of avoiding the Longhorns, we decided to try it again This time we were pleasantly surprised Food was really good, not as good as it used to be before it was corporate owned, but it was good Our steaks were prepared just as ordered, the quality of sides and salads very good Our server did a fantastic job We didn’t have to wait for a table, and we didn’t have to wait very long for food, but it was just an average Tuesday…

I have ordered to go from here before and my order was not right so I was already a little skeptical. Last weekend our server was awesome and food was great, but was confused about the long wait. We waited 20 minutes to be seated and normally this would not bother me but there were lots of empty tables! I think they need to work on the front of house flow.

Service was okay. Management was very rude. Saw food hit the floor then returned back to the table. I won’t be returning.

I really hate that this particular location just isn’t up to par but it’s true and apparently it’s not just my bad luck as you can see by the other reviews. Every time I go I experience something negative. My last visit was pretty bad. I was told a 40 min wait and took a seat. I was never called and my «beeper» never went off and after 50 min passed I asked how much longer would it be. The hostess told me she called my name but I didn’t answer. I literally sat in the seat closest to her and she never called it. But wouldn’t my handheld buzzer of gone off anyway? Well it didn’t and a list of people that came in after me were seated before me. I told her my beeper never went off and she said it’s because they weren’t working today. Thanks for letting me hold onto a broken hunk of plastic Longhorns! Then I ordered my food, ribeye medium rare– received a well done piece of flavorless meat– or maybe a piece of leather, not sure. I returned it but not for another steak because I’ve lost all confidence in this place after 10 visits of always something not right. I’m not even picky either! I’m a Waffle House man! This location is such a shame too because my wife loves their mixed drinks and it’s close by. The wait staff is friendly, it’s really the cooks who make it bad. Other Longhorns are much better. I’m not saying it’s unbearable but it’s inconsistent. I’ve had a good steak here but more often I haven’t. Also they don’t hardly have mint leaves whenever I want a mojito. This location is in need of a major management overhaul… and mint leaves.

Hmmmm. Everything was great until I noticed an ant crawling on my bread board. I was kind of ok with it and then there were 2. I mentioned and the manager said«sorry, I guess we need to get Orkin out here» and«we don’t invite them». Nice. Out of all the Longhorns in the chain I guess they can’t afford to comp a $ 20 meal when they have bugs around the food they are serving.

I really like the food at other Longhorn locations, but somehow this location always misses the mark. Every time I’ve been here there’s something wrong with the order and the food is very bland; I will not return.

You can usually count on Longhorns to provide great service. I believe they train their teammates on customer service. I only had one bad service in FL. We visit this Longhorns frequently and always have great experience. Today was way above normal very friendly and brought the kids food out first which makes a big difference we had Brittany W for a waitress very friendly and you could tell she was actually just a nice personality. She worked at Locos and was great there also. Thanks again Brittany W. and team.

I’ve eaten at MANY Longhorn Steakhouse Locations, but NEVER have had as unpleasant an experience. I will PREFACE with this was FATHER’S DAY at 6:30pm. My family went to see a movie at the local theater, then dinner. Sounded like a good idea for all! 1. We went in BEFORE the movie at 3:30pm to put our name in for 6:30pm. We had a party of 11. Of course, on arrival there was quite a long wait 1 ½ hours, but the hostess indicated our wait would be 45 – 55 minutes because we’d «called ahead». 2 large parties were seated that arrived after we did, then when we were finally«seated»(1 hour 45 minutes later), there was only seating for 10 at two separate tables next to one another. So much for the family meal together. 2. The bartender doesn’t know what an «old fashioned». Several of us order this type of drink often and ALL agreed it wasn’t at all correct. After the 2nd attempt to correct, had to change to just a plain shot of Bourbon. 3. Most of the steaks were«moo-ing», EVEN those ordered«Medium Well». Asparagus was barely warmed, etc… We weren’t the only family unhappy with our experience. The table next to us left with literally ½ of the plates untouched. If you decide to go for a meal… don’t go on a busy night, order steak more cooked than you prefer, take a lot of patience and hope for the best! MOST of us won’t be back.

20 mins to get our order taken by a manager b/c the waitress was inadequate. Another 15 to get any kind of drink on our table. Which included 2 waters. Yeah. Still waiting on the water as I write this review. Service sucks. Cant say anything about the food b/c ive yet to receive it. Probably our last time here. — — update Food was good. We finally received our meal after an hour and 15 from being seated. Manager did take care of us.

The food was great. Server didn’t pay enough attention to our table. She got less tip. They have two Wi-Fi radios but want let you on! Why have them?

First and last time eating at this location. To start, it took the hostess a good 10 minutes to come greet us at the podium. Once we were seated we waited another 15 for our waiter to show up for drink orders. Next, we ordered spinach dip for our appetizer. It arrived with so much oil on the chips that it was«puddled» on three of the chips and all of the chips were soggy because of oil. So, we sent it back. Another person brought it out and made a smart remark about the chips. For the meal, I ordered my steak medium-well which is supposed to be very pink in the center, but not bleeding. Basically, they slapped the cow on its rear-end and put it on my plate. Disgusting! I didn’t send it back and decided to just trade meals with my husband because he likes his steaks cooked that way. The only reason I didn’t send it back was the service was very slow! There was no reason for this place to have such slow service because it was dead! I counted maybe 6 tables total that were filled. My suggestion is to do your homework, read reviews to form your own opinion, and visit at your own risk. Hopefully your visit will be much better than ours was. ***UPDATE*** August 2015 Decided to give it a try to see if there was an improvement from above visit. NOPE! The server never refilled our drinks or came to the table to check on our meal to ask if we needed anything. The person that brought out food rushed off so fast we couldn’t even get a word in to stop them. So I ate my steak plain without the steak sauce I love. The menu has changed, but prices are still just as high. For around the same price, they took away a side item from the steaks and now you have to pay $ 2.99 extra if want a salad with your steak. What kind of steakhouse does this? Too many weird items in the menu so I really don’t consider this a steakhouse anymore. It’s becoming another Applebee’s or Chili’s. If you want a good steak with TWO sides go elsewhere. I’m sticking with Texas Roadhouse. Sorry Winder Longhorns, you all have some major improving to do!

Though the food is consistent, the service is awful! We waited almost 20 mins for our server to get to the table and then as we tried to order items off the menu, they were out of many things. This is not the first time we’ve had an experience like this at this location. I don’t blame the servers, the management must be horrible.

I came here for lunch and the price was really good. The service and food was worth the price. The only bad thing was we waited a long time for our food. It was lunch time and the place wasn’t even busy. Maybe they need more people in the kitchen or better communication with the kitchen. Overall a okay place to go. Might come back again.

This was my second visit to this Longhorn The first was the same week they opened the service and food was not very good. My son had to work Father’s Day so we went on Tuesday. Not much had changed I ordered the outlaw medium well and green beans. I asked for extra blue cheese dressing on the salad. When the salad came there was very little dressing on it. The steak came and the outside was burnt and inside was rare, the green beans were good. I think it’s a shame because this longhorn is very close to my house. Next time I go to longhorns it will be the one in Monroe Ga

The food was ok, but the service was terrible. We were not in a big hurry that evening but we didn’t want to wait long either so we saw a table in the bar area that was available. It seemed like the staff was busy so we waited for service. After about 10 minutes of waiting at the table and just before we decided to get up and leave, someone came to our table. Once our order was taken we didn’t see our server again until we flagged down someone to get our check. Yes you read that right the server only took our order and never came back except to bring our check. Our food came out and we were never checked on. We had to ask some one else for our check. It wasn’t the worst experience I’ve ever had in a restaurant, but it’s not one I ever want to experience again. I doubt me or my family will be going back.

My family goes to a Long Horn’s every year to celebrate a special birthday. This year, we ventured all the way out to the middle of nowhere(Bethlehem) Georgia. This Long Horn’s opened up in January, so it’s a little over a month old now. For a party of six, we were told our wait time would be a little over 20 minutes. People were standing outside and milling around to get a table, so 20 minutes wasn’t a horrible wait time. We all saddled up to the bar and got comfortable. Two people ordered drinks and by the time they got them, our table was ready. We only waited five minute for our table. Score! We settled into a large roomy booth, with six people, none of felt cramped. Apparently Long Horn’s got new menus, because these weren’t your classic plastic/laminated menu. Our server must have been watching us because as soon as we got settled and comfortable she approached us. She not only took our drink orders, but tried to upsell us on appetizers and alcohol. The tonion appetizer? Yes, please! Wild West Shrimp? Why not! Spinach artichoke dip? Bring it on! And the free bread — yeah, bring that, too! House wine, sangria and beer? Of course! The place was packed! They were joining tables in the aisle next to us, a large party of 15. The decorations are essential the same as other Long Horn’s, the Western theme is prominent. Lighting was good, bright enough to see everything, but not glaring. Our drinks came first, then the bread, then the appetizers. Our table was crammed with plates! The Tonion — Long Horn’s version of The Bloomin’ Onion at Outback. Crispy outsides, juicy insides. It paired well with the dip, a horseradish mix of some kind. The spinach artichoke was great. The perfect texture, creamy and hot. Perfect for scooping up with the tortillas chips. And the shrimp was delicious. Served with ranch and peppers, this dish was addicting. The bread is usually the first thing we go for, but it was an afterthought that night with everything else on the table. Drinks: My sangria was the BEST. I’VE. EVER. HAD! I’ve got a lot of sangrias, and this one takes the cake. So much fruit and flavor, I couldn’t stop drinking it. Filled to the brim in a small fishbowl, this was the perfect addition to my meal. It was so good I had to pass it around the table. General consensus: Amazing sangria! Order Up: Long Horn’s has a two for $ 30 promotion going on right now. Two people share an appetizer or dessert, each person gets a salad and a main dish. My mother and I did this, the spinach artichoke was our appetizer, both got salads, we both got the salmon dish — her with a loaded baked potato and me with a loaded sweet potato. Another pair ordered the two-fer deal, the Wild West Shrimp was their appetizer, salads, she ordered the salmon with veggies, he ordered the filet with veggies. One person got a giant rib-eye steak, and my husband ordered a steak with crab meat on top. By the time the food arrived, we were all a little inebriated and still snacking on appetizers. My salmon was good, cooked perfectly — but lacking that special something. The rice and sweet potato were excellent, served hot and flavorful. Overall, the dish was very good, but not uh-mazing. My husband’s steak was really uh-mazing. His medium was cooked perfectly and the crab on top was icing on the cake. So tender and juicy! We ate so many appetizers that to-go boxes were necessary. There was no way we could finish our food. From what I gather, everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food. Collectively, the night was great. Our server, bless her heart, had to deal with my tipsy family, blabbering about extra butter, steak knives and needing refills. Our server was also assigned the party of 15, so she was constantly moving between tables. Despite our slurred demands, she was more than accommodating. Drinks were constantly refilled, condiments and extra napkins were always delivered. Of all the times I’ve been to Long Horn’s, this was my favorite experience. I had such a good time with great food and great company, that I didn’t want to leave. With full bellies, a good buzz and some free slices of Chocolate Stampede to-go, we left. I can’t wait to go back!
