Me and my husband got open water scuba diving certified at Lehigh Valley Dive Center and we are absolutely happy about our experience! Steve was our instructor and he is extremely knowledgeable, professional and talented teacher. He doesn’t mind to go extra mile to make sure you feel comfortable under water and he is very passionate about scuba diving and its safety rules. Generally speaking, every employee at Lehigh Valley Dive Center we dealt with is super friendly, patient and knowledgeable. Steve and his staff made us feel like a part of their family each time we were in the store. We are hooked to scuba diving now and we highly recommend Steve and his crew!

So the rental prices are kinda high which is okay, but what is not okay is the poor service me and my dive buddy recieved. The man we dealt with was unprofessional and downright rude. With all the competition in the area you would think that they would treat you with courtesy, instead I was treated like a pest. I don’t know if the guy was having a bad day or something but that doesn’t excuse it either way. All I know is that if I ever need anything while I’m at dutch springs, lehigh valley dive shop is not where I’m going to get it.

They tried to sell me a wet suit top and bottom for $ 18EACH, when I know for a fact that it’s $ 18 together. They did this multiple times to me and other divers I know. Management blames it on new workers but I’ve seen the same workers there for years. Go to Atlantis Aquarius instead for honest and professional service.

I was referred to this shop by Scuba Venture as the go to shop for Oceanic parts. Steve from the Lehigh Valley Dive Center went out of his way to repair a part on my BC that other shops and even online vendors told me I was out of luck and would need to replace the whole power inflator assembly at the tune of $ 200+. The BC was in excellent condition, but I couldn’t stomach $ 200+ to repair the BC when nice new ones sell on clearance for $ 250 – 350. Steve found the parts somewhere and my total bill for the service and parts was only $ 28! I ended up buying a few odds and ends in the shop also while I was there. I’ll definitely make this shop a pitstop when diving at Dutch Springs or on my way to NJ if I need anything. Thanks for the good service guys.
