After several days of investigating wash machines, we bought a high end washer with all the bells and whistles at lows. I felt a nagging dread about my soon to be delivered machine. The reason being my experience with he washers has been less than desirable. I came across the old fashion speed queen and started reviewing all the comments. I sat and read 672, almost all favorable comments about thie plain Jane washer. We proceeded to go to lehigh Appliance on Broad st in Bethlehem and we were greeted by 2 men that seemed to be the least pushy sale man I have ever dealt with. They were incredibly knowledgable and answered a zillion questions. We purchased a speed queen washer, plain vanilla and I told my husband I think I lost my mind buying a machine with an agitator in this day and age. Well! I must say that I have never been happier with a purchase in my life. This washer iis amazing. lowes was great about letting us cancel.
. My laundry is brighter and cleaner, I put an old towel in that never got clean in my high end wash machine and the speed queen got every bit of dirt out. I do not miss the digital readings, nor the bells and whistles. It is like a blast from the past that provides me with more efficiency than I ever anticipated. I am still marveling with each load how clean my clothing are. Two dials and a few selections and I am on my way… I can soak my clothing and do 3 loads in the time that I used to do one. It is gentle on my cloths and the spin cycle is great, my clothing are not in a ball and I do not have to untangle a mess like I did with my old high efficiency. It comes in white and I have to say it is a no frills in appearance… but I am totally in love… I guess the old adage don’t judge a book by it’s cover is true for wash machines, I could go on and on, instead just do your self a favor and try the speed queen, you will not be disappointed. I will return to lehigh appliances when I am in need, as they are a small store that delivers solid knowledge and made my shopping experience actually a fun Saturday outing, they were low key and also very informative.

I own several apartments, so I’m in the market for at least one appliance every year. Each time I price shop Sears, Lowes, Home Depot, Boscovs, etc. and then I call Lehigh Supply. Well, I’m just wasting my time, because Lehigh Supply is always, always, always the cheapest. The sales folks work with you to find you the absolute best product for the best price and they’ll deliver it for free too.
I’ve never heard anyone say something bad about them. Usually the coversation goes like this: «So, I’m buying a new dishwasher from Lehigh Supply…»; «Lehigh Supply? I love those guys. They’re awesome.»; «OMG, seriously, I know. I can’t believe people buy appliances elsewhere. I’m so glad I found out about them. They’re the best!» Seriously. I’ve had this conversation at least 3 or 4 times with folks.
