I’d like to give them 3 ½ stars but can’t figure out how to do so via mobile app. Their gyros are very good, they were a little overhyped to me and so i was a little disappointed but the gyro was still delicious. Part of the hype was that their gyros are huge, They’re a good size but not huge. Lamb was flavorful and fresh. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of fries I got with a small order. The service was fast and food was definitely hot. I think this place is a great place for lunch or a snack but is it worth driving across town for? Eh not in my opinion but if I’m in the area I’d definitely pick Johnny’s over other options.

Yeah it is a drive in but skip the other fare. This place is known for their amazing Gyros. Probably the only legit Gyro and certainly the best in the area. Tip. Limited parking

My mouth is watering just thinking about tasting the juicy, thinly shaved lamb, crisp lettuce, onion & tomatoes… succulent sauce and deedeeedeeelicious bread all made with love– you can taste it in every bite @ Johnny’s. Service is always friendly AND fast, worth every penny and the baklava is heavenly!

Good lamb but the place is very expensive. For a large Greek salad with meat and a drink and tzatziki sauce(they chisel an EXTRACHARGE) it cost almost $ 20! Tasty but not worth $$ — this is street food for god sakes.

One of the best gyros in the valley. The fries come unsalted so you can put the amount that you want, which i love.

Great Gyro here. lots of meat and the tzatziki sauce is good and goes well with the gyro. General diner feel and is a good place to get in, sit and eat, and get out. Quick stop for good food.

I’ve had better. I had the greek salad which was just lettuce, tomatoes and olives. Not bad but not good either. Run of the mill boring. My husband loves gyros and was so excited to try this place out. He said it was decent but nothing special. He’s has better. The problem started later that night. Something definitely did not agree with him and he felt ill. We will not be back.

Very good gyros. I like how they shave the meat thin so that it gets crispy on the griddle. I recommend.

Ehh just Ok I think a little pricey for the size. And no fries. And the meat wasn’t that great. Again — just OK

There are so many Greeks in the valley, yet so few places that make a decent gyro. Other than John the Greek at the fair, Johnny’s is the best in the area(which is why it gets 5 stars!). Johnny’s carves the meat right off the spit, which is where a gyro should come from. Lots of places use the frozen strips-thats great for home use, but not when you eat out. The pieces of meat are thick and have just enough spices on them. They used the pre oiled pita bread and they are heated up just enough. I will often go to Johnnys and buy their pita bread for when I make souvlaki at home. French fries imo are fantastic. They taste like how McDonalds fries used to taste back in the day. Milkshakes are also very good here. I’m a retard and will dip my fries into my milkshake-yummy! It can get a little spendy though, but you get a lot of food for the money. I get my gyros plain(just meat and pita) and they dont skimp on the meat like some places will. They fill it up as if it had all the other stuff in it. Some people are comparing this to the ones in greece, but you cant compare. You’re not in the xorio! Its just not fair to do that-it will always be better in greece, but we are here, so it is what it is. I would love to be able to get a real greek pork souvlaki on a piece of fresh oil/grease soaked bread, but it aint happening! Johnnys is close, and I’m happy with that. Oh…there does appear to be a Greek on premises here monitoring the non greeks. :)
