I didn’t realize that they no longer do retail, so I was disappointed when I showed up ready for a cup of coffee and some granola. BUT they sent me on my way with three sample bags for stopping by! How kind!

Maybe this is an unfair rating, I’m not sure. I’ve never actually been to the Granola Factory, but Granola Factory is currently in my mouth and my mouth is in heaven. I found a bag of this stuff at Wegman’s– Honey Pecan granola. What the hell, this is so good. I’ve been trying out different granola for a long time now, searching for the perfect delicious crunch to add to my morning fruit smothered in yogurt. My long, drawn out journey has ended. Holy crap, how is it legal for granola to be this good? I have a feeling they added some crack to the mix. If I am ever in Bethlehem, I’ll definitely be eating at this place. If their freshly baked food is even remotely as good as the bagged stuff, I might just keel over and die.

We had a luncheon and their food was brought in, and wow was it amazing! Variety, perfect spice and wonderful flavor. Their baked goods are even better.

I can not put into words how amazing this place is. I can not. Everything I am about to type is so far below the praise this place deserves. It’s amazing. Simply amazing. Get a bag of granola. Fresh. Delicious. Get a loaf of bread. It’s great for everything. Sandwiches? Yes. French Toast? Yes. Ripped off in hunks because it’s so darn tasty? Yes. The Bethlehem Bars are to die for. Oatmeal bar with caramel, pecans and chocolate with a struesel top. WHATTHEHECK. I want to eat this every day, every meal, forever. The title«Best Chocolate Chip Cookie» doesn’t lie. I’m an avid baker, so I was fairly skeptical. But holy crap you guys, this was the best chocolate chip cookie I ever ate in my life. The scones are fantastic, too. Lemon Blueberry was on this week’s menu and the blueberries just freaking burst in your mouth. BUTWAIT. You don’t like sweets? Can’t have carbs? NOFREAKINGPROBLEM. They have wraps, soups… today they had sweet & spicy cedar plank salmon, curried chicken wraps and beef bourguignon. How delicious does this stuff sound? Only a fraction of how delicious it looks, which can only be a fraction of how good it tastes. The hours suck. I’m not going to sugar coat it. But you know what? If the only down-side of this place is that it’s not open every day so I can’t gain two hundred pounds… I’m alright with it. GOHERE! (Tip: Cash or Check only!)

Great place for small bites and I think desserts but I’m not a dessert kind of person. Just remember it’s take-out only and they only take cash, two critical points. Their hours are very bad but their main business is making and packaging granola, not selling food retail so it’s understandable. They have great healthy interesting options on the weekends, the best of which always sell out so get there early. If you’re in the area or have been thinking about going, make the effort to do so, you’ll be glad you did. I believe you can get their weekly menu on-line which is important since it changes every week.

One of the best kept secrets in Bethlehem. The hours are limited to Thursdays and Fridays, and they take prolonged winter and summer breaks(I wish they were open every day during the week!), but it’s so good that I try to get here every week. Baked goods are amazing. Scones, cupcakes, muffins, cookies — the selection varies from week to week. All very fresh, with innovative flavors(ham and cheese scones? Yep!). Lunches and entrees are delicious and creative as well. Thai chicken, cucumber dill soup, risotto, quiche. I’ve had several things that were exquisitely delicious(pumpkin ravioli in brown butter sage sauce). The best part is that if you sneak in right before closing time on Fridays, you can get things for deep discounts(if they’re not sold out). One day I got a smörgåsbord of things that made for a memorable lunch with my family(everyone got to try a little of everything). Oh, and their granola is EXCELLENT. A little sweet, a little salty and no added«junk» ingredients. And when they bake it, the whole alley smells delicious.

DELICIOUS baked goods — frustratingly limited hours. When I first moved to Bethelehem this summer, I was a block from this place, and as I hadn’t started my job yet, I walked by the Granola Factory every single day hoping that I would eventually find it to be open. Success! The day came(on a Thursday), and I finally made it inside. It’s nothing remarkable — a tiny little shop, and a display case with about a dozen different baked goods. I think I got more or less one of everything to try, and I can honestly say that every single thing I’ve had has been delicious. I believe their hours are Thursday(from ~10 — 5) and Friday(8 – 12) — extremely limited. But the woman who owns this also runs a B&B a few blocks a way, so she’s got stuff to do. Tip: I am fairly sure that the baked goods sold at The Wise Bean coffee shop on New Street come from the Granola factory. Otherwise it’s a very strange coincidence that they both happen to have Vanilla Lavender pound cake on the same day, and key lime scones the next.

I’ve known about this place for quite some time, but given the odd hours this shop keeps, I was only able to stop in for the first time last week. The shop is very much like the street on which it is located. It is quiet and relaxed. This definitely makes the granola factory a really cool adventure spot to try to find. Once you do, the food makes it worth the effort. It is definitely a place I would like to head back to for a second time around.

I live about a block from this place and could NEVER find it open: weird hours. For me, a business that does not have consistent hours gets a minus star. I hate going to a place that advertises they are open, then when I get there are closed. It is frustrating! I happened to be walking by and noticed the open flag flying… crossing my fingers and hoping for the best, I tried the door and alas they were OPEN! Holy granules of granola Batman! I found the counter person to be friendly and informative. I bought a sticky bun and a bag of granola and got a free sample of a different kind of granola. I am a bit upset that I didn’t get 5 free scones, but then again, I don’t advertise or say that I review on Unilocal like some peopIe. I just want to know how another reviewer was able to snag five free scones. I want the scones! I doubt I will be in heaven until I get them. Overall, if you can find it open it is worth a stop.

What an adorable little place! It’s a bit hard to find — tucked back an alley. So it should be no surprise to me that they’ve been there almost two years now. I went for the baked goods — and got two huge awesome sticky buns for only $ 5! Adding to that the owners were completely friendly and actually gave me 5 free scones to take back to the office! I’m in heaven. They also have light lunch items — sandwiches, salads and quiche. All of which look wonderful. You can eat inside, or take it to go. Give them a call before you go because they have weird hours. Summer hours they’re only open early Thursdays and Fridays. Totally worth seeking out. Go now! UPDATE: Their deliciuos granola mix is now offered at other Lehigh Valley locations.
