Cafe the Lodge

It’s easy to give this breakfast spot five stars. From the good food, nice interior, and positive social and community outreach it has it all. I will be back.

Great place for lunch in Bethlehem. The food is very fresh and the salads are wonderful!!! Workers were very friendly and food came out very quickly. If you are looking for an easy and super affordable lunch, support this café. Well done!

My first time here today and the people that work there are so nice. They definitely make you feel welcomed. I just ordered 6 bagels to take home and I tried the everything bagel… So good! My family loved the bagels as well. I will definitely come here in the near future! :)

Absolutely great place for lunch! Cuban sandwich is the best around but all other sandwiches are great too. Nice place, friendly service. Highly recommend to anyone in the area.

Nice little place along the greenway. Homemade offerings and beautiful outdoor seating. Specially coffee drinks an added bonus.

Food was delicious! Service was friendly and speedy. I can’t believe this was my first time at this hidden gem! They also have live music, open mic nights and poetry.

Simply one of the best places in the Valley for excellent food at an amazing price. The Greek salad is unbelievably good and I just had it in February, which is not known for tasty veggies. Somehow the tomatoes, peppers etc tasted like homegrown August produce! I have been a regular patron here and have never seen a plate I didn’t envy. Don’t even get me started on the homemade soups; stunning.
Service is perfect; present but not intrusive. The patio out back is lovely, shaded, relaxing and spacious. Throw in the mission to serve the community and help people suffering from disabilities and I don’t know how they could possibly be better. Maybe extend the hours to dinner? Pretty please?

Wow. Above and beyond customer service, fair pricing and the usual great attention to detail — but while eating my massive omelette I realized just how special the Lodge is.
Honestly one of the best egg dishes I have ever eaten and I am a chef.

Went to visit Lehigh and decided to stop for lunch after. Checked on Unilocal and The Lodge came up. We’re so glad we are here. It’s casual, you just walk up to the counter to place your order. The guys had a Cuban panini and I had an omelet. Very good! If you want good and fast and easy give them a try. Ps counter guy was great, too

The lodge is great!!! They are so friendly and such quick and great service. Food is really good, I recommend a panini though the breakfast is also good. A really pleasant experience.

I think this place is just great! I have been here a few times and food is very consistent. I have had the famous Cuba panini, house salad, and special soups of the dah. Everything is fresh and delicious! The restaurant is clean and well taken care of! The outdoor patio is beautiful. A must stop for homemade food :)

Café the Lodge is such a homely place to eat and just chill. I came here with my cousin for breakfast and tried the Cuban Sandwich panini and it was amazinggg~~ My sandwich came with cole slaw. The cole slaw here is not the regular plain cole slaw that I’m used to. This had a slight spicyness to it that tasted like a chipotle like sauce. Mind you, these paninis aren’t small like the ones you get at the Starbucks café. They’re like twice the size! The entire meal was so filling that I finished the other half of the panini for lunch.
The atmosphere and service here is excellent! They bring the food to you and the coffees are in a decent-​sized mug. My cousin got the Breakfast Roll which was just as good. For close to $ 4 for a large panini, I’d say it was a good deal. My entire meal with the Cuban sandwich and a caffee latte came to around $ 10 which is a lot cheaper than other places.
Last but not least, I love how this place supports adults with mental illnesses. Great food, atmosphere, and service all for a great cause! I would definitely come back here to try the different paninis they have. It’s also an ideal place to study because they have free wifi.

Support the local restaurants… This is a very nice place to find. Coming from the walking/​cycling path there is a back «shed» that currently sells ice cream and drinks along the bicycle/​walking path. Soon this building will also let you order from the restaurant up the walkway. There are tables around this little building or there are benches along the path. Going up the walkway towards the main restaurant you will pass through a lovely garden and pond and more tables and seats. Once into the restaurant it is clean, new and free WiFi. Very nice for a lunch meeting. The food is well made, nicely presented and brought out to you. If you are going to sit outside, let them know this at the counter. We had paninis and they came with a fresh made cole slaw. There are various goodies that are sometimes there and sometimes not. It all depends on how many people have picked the fresh made quiche or cookies or … Drinks were the usual canned but had an additional three large carafes for iced teas. You don’t think you will be filled but I think you will find that the panini will fill you up. Enjoy.

Café the Lodge was a random stop on our road trip and it’s one of those places that makes you so so thankful to have made a stop. They make an assortment of salads, sandwiches & paninis, breakfast stuffs, pastries, and café-​type drinks (coffees, lattes, espresso). The folks at Café the Lodge put together a mean panini. we should know since between the 5 of us, 4 ordered paninis. Being a voracious meat eater, I seldom order a meal without it, but took a chance on the veggie panini (fresh mozzarella, tomato, pesto, balsamic glaze on Portuguese roll). The last coworker ordered a homemade quiche (not the sit under the lamp kind of quiche) and a latte (which came out in a gigantic mug).
We didn’t realize until the end of the meal that this café is part of an organization that provides housing, jobs, and support for adults with mental illnesses.
Good food + good service + good cause = happy campers.
