Stayed overnight at the DoubleTree Hotel — Share is located inside the DoubleTree Hotel. Had an Ale one evening here sitting at the bar — a local Ale — Loose Cannon IPA(Heavy Seas Beer, Baltimore, MD). Loose Cannon is not among my favorite Mid-Atlantic IPAs — but it is better than drinking Anheuser-Busch/Miller/Coors products. Visited the restaurant area the next morning and had the breakfast buffet — ordered a custom omelette with spinach, mushrooms, onions, asparagus, bacon, and Monterey Jack cheese. Omelette was well made and tasty! Served up with a side of bacon and a glass of V-8 juice! Service was good!

Came here on a Saturday evening around 6:30 and was only table occupied, except for few people at the bar. What a shame, as the food that we ate was good minus one dish(crab dip was way too watery). Their flatbread was quite good and the star of the meal was their filet mignon, cooked a perfect medium and their crab cakes were huge. Almost no fillers but very dense. I was stuffed. That chocolate dessert was delicious but their key lime pie was more like a cheesecake not a pie. Our waiter was very nice to us and was quick and came to see how everything was couple times. Good wine by glass menu too. Maybe during their happy hour, give this place a try in downtown Bethesda. It looks like they have a large breakfast buffet too.

Staying at the Double Tree in Bethesda MD. The food, service and presentation was wonderful and left nothing wanting. The server shared his knowledge of the menu and other local restaurants that are worth exploring. Please please stop by this local gem.

3.5 stars The food gets 3.5 stars, but the night we were there, the restaurant was understaffed. They had one server running around the large restaurant serving all the tables. We waited quite a while for each of our dishes and then again for the check. However, the waiter was very friendly. We started with the sticky ribs, which were the highlight of the meal. For our entrees, we had the seafood linguine and the«comfort food» special of the day, which was a pan roasted trout with rice, vegetables, and greens. The trout dish was very good. The linguine was good, but I think it would have been better with a marinara, rather than the buttery sauce it came with. For dessert we got the key lime pie. It was fine, but not what I usually think of when it comes to key lime pie. Instead of a light custard texture, it was like key lime cheesecake — super rich. For a hotel restaurant, this is definitely top notch. Pitted against the other restaurants in its price range nearby, though, I’m not sure it can compete. Knock the prices down about $ 5 per plate and it’ll do just fine.

Stayed at the DoubleTree Bethesda for a couple of days. Room service was great so came back for breakfast. Big buffet was beautifully laid out. Eggs Benedict special was good. Omelette station was popular. Came back for dinner. Salsiccia Fresca Flat Bread was tasty. The area is loaded with restaurants. However, worth the stop or staying in.
