I had an outstanding lobster Taco. I can not wait to go back for another. The lobster was tender and tasty, there was plenty of lobster in the taco and the taco seasonings were perfect. Enjoy!

Food is okay, service is mediocre at best. I spend A LOT of money at this«fancy» fast food place that gives you more cheese and less lobster for your money if you get the melts. Today I was compelled to write a review because I saw a man walk back and get a refill without being charges and I finished my meal smiled and asked for the same thing and the cashier told me it was a dollar for refills. I complied and paid didn’t even mention the other man that had just received free refill, because I already knew what excuse would come up I highly do NOT recommend this place, cava is next door and you get a healthier bang for your buck and fee refills on better drinks!!! I know the owner is reading this, I’ll come see you next week and remind you, I was one of your first customers SMH

Food quality, and taste are sub-par. I thought at first that perhaps I was going in with too high of expectations, but realized that shouldn’t be a thought considering surrounding competition. Not worth the money, won’t return.

While heading to the Microsoft Store at the mall, I stopped here for a bite. As long as it took(early in the afternoon on a Friday) for the food to be prepared, I’m assuming it was truly fresh ingredients. The food: delicious. I ordered The Beltway. But for the price paid for the one sandwich($ 16), I would have hoped for a larger roll and more filling. I scarfed the thing down in less than five minutes. Within an hour I was hungry again. Should have ordered a side. It is Bethesda, so outrageous prices are to be expected. The plus side: I received a coupon for a free drink there the next time I stop there(before the end of February 2016). That being said, I’m undecided whether the price is worth the small amount of food that you get, no matter how great it tastes.

To find a delicious lobster roll in a food court setting was an unexpected surprise. Lobster was delicious cooked in butter with a mayo and choice sauce. Not rubbery but cooked to perfection. The roll was a toasted butter roll that held up well for the whole sandwich. And there was no skimping on the amount of lobster either. I had the fries and blueberry lemonade to round out this tasty meal. Hard to believe this place didn’t have a much longer line! Definitely will be having this again next time I’m at the mall!

Well at least I know they use real lobster in their Lobster Melt. How do I know? Because of the huge amount of shells. Sandwich looked delicious but was a huge waste of money as I ended up not being able to eat most of it. Every bite I took had so much shell. Showed my coworker and they were shocked anyone would serve that. Staff here is consistently lacking. Soup is very good and their menu looks fantastic but I find myself being disappointed nearly every time. Was my first time trying their Lobster Melt and I can safely say I will stick with Luke’s Lobster from now on unless they seriously change.

Honestly, the food isn’t bad here. It was actually quite good. The reason why I’m giving a two stars for this place is because of the service. The cash register person paid NO attention when my husband and I were trying to order something so we just awkwardly stood in front of her just staring at her. then we decided that it was a waste of time just to stare at her when she was obviously looking somewhere else so we decided to just say our order out loud. We ordered a fish and chips and my husband said that he wanted a beer with that. The fish and chips COMES with a soda and tortilla chips(it’s like a set meal so that’s what we pay for). She never asked us if we wanted a drink besides the beer since we were paying for it anyways so instead she charged us extra for the drink and the beer. When we got our order, we got a fish taco and my lobster taco. She completely forgot about our beer so our husband had to remind her after she was done serving other customers. When we sat down to eat, my husband just looked down at his plate with a confused look on his face. He swore he had ordered fish and chips… that’s when I checked the receipt. She charged us for a fish taco + chips + drink, beer, and a lobster taco. I went back up to her asking her if we can get the drink that we paid for since she never told us anything about it and then she said«oh yea. it comes with a drink.» Why would she tell us that afterwards? The whole experience there was frustrating and will not be returning. Please train your staff members better. Make sure that they aren’t just staring into space when customers are lined up trying to order, have manners, explain the menu when customers ask a question, and that they get the correct order.

Who doesn’t love lobster? When Lobster ME opened in the Montgomery Mall food court I could not contain my excitement. I could go shopping and then have my lobster roll. Eating and shopping are two of my favorite past times. Recently, I have gone to Lobster ME and I think the portions are shrinking. They still have tender, buttery lobster cradled in a rich, soft bun. The chips are fried perfectly with a hint of vinegar and sea salt. But, now you have to pay $ 1 extra for chips and coleslaw. It was originally included when you bought the roll. I found that my sandwich was more like a half of sandwich and I was still hungry after I ate it. If you are paying $ 17 to $ 19 dollars for a sandwich, it should fill you up. So, Lobster ME, please read the latest reviews and make some changes back to your original product. I still want to go shopping and have my lobster, without getting crabby about it!

The lobster rolls aren’t of the quality of Luke’s Lobster, but the ½ order lobster melt and soup with«The Original» and clam chowder is pretty darn tasty. It’s not so much the lobster as it is the grilled cheese that made it worthwhile. Picture a gooey, ridiculously melty grilled cheese that’s straight out of your childhood… but with lobster. Oh, and the clam chowder ain’t bad. ;-)

Pretty solid for being a lobster joint inside a mall food court. The price point is just a *smidge* higher than Luke’s Lobster but it does come with more variety, like Lobsicles(lobster on a stick, who would have thought?) or Lobster Grilled Cheese – which I had to jump on. There was surprisingly more lobster meat in both the roll and grilled cheese than expected and both well seasoned. The sides are on the ‘meh’ side however; the coleslaw is pretty bland and like another Unilocaler noted about the fries, they’re better at McDonald’s. It’s nothing that would knock your socks off or make me want to make the schlep up from VA to grab another bite but if I’m ever in the area with a hankering for lobster, I’ll pop back in.

Lobster ME has pretty good lobster rolls. Their rolls are filled with fresh lobster meat on a toasted, buttery roll. However, it can be a little too buttery. I like their Original Maine Style Lobster Roll and Connecticut Lobster Roll. Their Truffle Lobster Roll, on the other hand, is subpar and quite disappointing. It was topped with too much mayo, carrots, and celery bits, which overpowered the taste of the lobster. Waste of $ 19. Stick with the normal rolls. Each lobster roll order comes with a side of chips and coleslaw. The house-made chips were alright. Avoid the boring fries. If you want fries, go to McDonalds. Their lobster grilled cheese only had a hint of lobster. Clam chowder was watery. Lobster ME is located inside the food court, next to Cava. It is pricey for the portion size. Definitely not going to fill you up. If I am going to eat at the food court, I would want something cheap and quick. $ 20 lobster rolls would not be my first choice.

Lobster Me was calling me in my sleep. I really wanted a good lobster roll for lunch. So I came up to Montgomery Mall, they are located in the food court near chipotle. No waiting in line, I look at the menu and again their is a sticker shock. I couldn’t decide so I go for a shrimp and lobster slider. It comes with cole slaw and a enormous amount of homemade potato chips that weren’t that good. I took my lunch to go and when I got home, the sliders were so small. I look inside just to make sure the lobster was real meat and it was, both sliders were amazing, it was mixed perfectly in whatever stuff it had. The rolls were good too. It taste like Hawaiian rolls. Unfortunately, the sliders are so small, I recall only taking 4 bites in total for both sliders. The service was good but it does seem to be overpriced for what you actually get.

LobsterME(Lobster Maine) started in Vegas and looks like their locations are all in fast food courts(I saw their Venetian location in Vegas at Grand Canal Shoppes). It is pricey for fast food but if you compare prices to other lobster roll places(Luke’s Lobster, Red Hook truck) it’s priced about the same. Their roll shines. So buttery and tasty and delicious. The original Maine lobster roll is my favorite. Let the lobster meat shine through. Connecticut style was just ok imo. The truffle one was my least favorite. Can’t taste the lobster with so much going on. Stick with the classic! Note: Don’t upgrade and order the fries. Their fries stink compare to the chips that come with the lobster roll! Good place for a lobster roll fix! Now having a crab roll would be a hit :)

I’d definitely come back here. I tried the lobster roll as part of the Unilocal Elite Westfield Mall Taste event. It’s pretty delicious, and I’ll tell you, although the lobster salad is really good(fresh, chunks of lobster), I think it’s the bun that really makes it. It comes on one of those soft, buttery, fluffy buns that looks like the whole thing isn’t going to fit in your mouth, but it totally will. Rolls are 2 for $ 12. They’re small and it seems a little pricey to me, but it IS lobster and it DID taste really fresh. You know what else? The manager was super nice. Great to talk to. Didn’t even really seem to understand what Unilocal is and was just excited to have folks try out his new restaurant.

«Oh my goodness!» Those are the only words I am truly left with. This shop is located in the heart of the Westfield mall’s food court. The food court has loads of other competitive restaurants and food stands, but lobster me definitely stands out from the rest. I mean, they do serve seafood and lobster rolls. Yum!!! To help you locate this stand: Lobster me is in the far back which is right next to cava. Thus, it’s really hard to miss. Their lobster sliders are perfection. With every single bite, the more you fall in love with lobster me. The lobster chunks are massive and the creamy saucy binding adds the perfect touch of silky constancy. The bread has a sweet hint. The bread they use almost reminds me of Hawaiian bread. There is a sweet undertone in the bread they use. It’s those little touches that makes their slider so delicious. The lobster they use are definitely fresh and not artificial. In fact, the lobster meat has no artificial binders. To add, the lobster meat is mixed with light creamy mayo and solely lobster meat. I did not see loads of bread crumbs in this slider filling.

2.5 stars for Lobster Me. Seeing as I wasn’t lucky enough to attend the Unilocal event here and sample the goods, I made it a point to check this place out because l mean, lobster. One word can best sum this place up: overpriced. I think in general, mall eateries are a rip off in terms of portion size. This place isn’t different. For $ 17 you can get a buttered lobster roll that in my experience is a bit dry and lacking in lobster. It was puny. The coleslaw that comes with a meal is basically a joke. A bit flavorless and comes in a rather small paper cup. Don’t upgrade to the meal for $ 3 extra. Though you get fries(not of any real note) and a small fountain drink, they take away the chips that would normally come with the roll. Now yes, that’s two potato sides, but for this price, I’d like to think I’m not getting slighted. I feel jipped and am still hungry. For $ 21 or so, it’s not worth it. Go next door to Cava and load up on legumes, buy a lobster at the local fishmonger and make one at home, or next time you’re in Boston, head to James Hook Lobster Co in the financial district and get a legit, overstuffed, and amazing lobster roll done right! Bah!

BESTLOBSTERROLL I’VEEVERHAD! The perfect trifecta of good! Warm tender and juicy lobster tossed in butter, piled high on lightly buttered roll! A generous portion of lobster with homemade chips and coleslaw. I was completely taken for a ride to happy place the moment I sank my teeth into the warm unctuous goodness they call«The Connecticut…» Ended up so full and satisfied with the biggest smile on my face while I devoured every drop. How could something so simple be so good? Worth every penny.($ 17) Worth every penny! Order the Connecticut roll, you will LOVE it. Thank me later!

It’s alright, I’m not a huge lobster fan so the smell was a bit much for me to take in. For 2 orders of lobster sliders, a water and a hi-c fruit punch, the order came out to a whopping $ 27 something meal. This would be Okay if sizing ratio matched the price… however, you know those little Hawaiian rolls? The ones you can place in between your pointer and thumb? Yup, That’s how big these sliders were… tiny, the a lobster type coleslaw mix, and about one piece of lettuce. The smell itself was eh, biting into it was better. The taste is mediocre, you can tell it’s made from frozen lobster, the handmade potato chip/fries are alright. not sure the specific seasoning they were going for(looks almost like a sugar coating like five guys. but the taste. no idea. haha). Will I go back? Probably not. Left a pungent taste in my mouth even the strongest of mint gums couldn’t get out. Besides the smell, my main complaint and deciding factor is the portion to price ratio. Your not dining at a fine restaurant, just moco mall’s eatery, so 27 for 2 at a tiny portion… is a bit much.

I was sooo excited to see that they had a Lobster Me at Montgomery Mall. I was just in Vegas in June 2014 and loved the location at the Miracle Mile Shops. I was a tad disappointed at this location, not sure if the Vegas aura affected my thoughts on the Lobster Me there or what, but the one at Montgomery Mall doesn’t hold a candle to that one. The BFF and I got the Connecticut combo. The fries were delicious, but we weren’t there for fries. The lobster roll was ok. I remember it being bigger in Vegas and definitely more buttery! This wasn’t very buttery and the lobster was chopped up in pieces versus chunks of lobster. Also, they need to have a larger size of sodas! They also need to check portions. We ordered our sandwiches at the same time and my sandwich definitely had more lobster meat than the BFF’s! Perhaps the crew here should check out the Lobster Me in Vegas and get some pointers?

I was lured here by the idea of lobster on a stick. A lobsicle. How awesome is that? Being it is the first day this spot in the Montgomery Mall food court was open, I had to try it out. For science. As you would expect there was some opening day snafus. Long lines, long wait times, but I thought it would be worth it for that lobsta tail on a stick. The menu made it look SO huge! How could I possibly eat such a big lobster tail on a stick like a lady? I was worried until I approached the counter and one of them came out. Look I’m a food size queen and that thing was tiny. Like put it back in the ocean so it can finish preschool with Nemo and friends tiny. I think the cashier saw my face fall as I watched that lobsicle be served and promptly offered me a mall employee discount(sometimes women just get each other that way). With the lobsicle they offer two options: grilled or fried. My now best friend whispered that I should get it grilled and I did. After a ten minute wait, I got my lobsicle, which was just as small as the other one I saw, and since I got a combo I got salt and vinegar fries(but that was also pretty sparse too). So does size matter? Well kinda sorta. Let me tell you, grilled lobster was the way to go, so flavorful(perfect smokiness) compared to the original lobster roll, but I couldn’t get over that it cost $ 14, when comparable lobster rolls out there from food trucks and Lukes Lobster offer more for less dollar. The fries, all five of them, were actually fantastic. Crispy and vinegary. Just right. My butter was a solid so I did not have a chance to dip my tail. All in all, it was an ok spot, glad I tried it once, but for lobster rolls I would pick other options.
