Fredi Torres

Fredi is an artist with shears.
He’s been cutting my hair for years. I don’t exactly understand how or why, but he seems to have an uncanny knack of cutting Asian hair (which is a rare thing to find for me). Also, he cuts my ex’s hair too, who happens to be Jamaican, and she too raves about Fredi. So, he can cut hair from a pretty wide range of ethnic backgrounds. I think it comes from being a dedicated student of his craft. I’ve sat and watched him cut other ladies’ hair. His hands have a remarkable gentleness, ease and speed, which can only come from mastery over a medium. His style is very gregarious and self-​deprecating, but don’t be decieved by it. He’s an expert at making women look confident and gorgeous (i.e. Most of his clients are women. I’m one of the exceptions).

Fredi is: a hair God. A hair guru. A brilliant brilliant genius on an aesthetic wavelength when it comes to the hair on top my head. He’s a… badass at what he does. But seriously. I was in the stalest of hair ruts that had little to no hope until he came along and wove a magic wand over my head and before you knew it, voila’, I had style and beautiful hair. This man is a true artist. Hair, among many other forms of art, comes as a natural gift to him and seems to be quite effortless yet comes out as a true product. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else. He’s trustworthy and magical at hair so do yourself, and the hairs on your head, a favor.

Fredi is a whiz with blonde highlights! I’m a return client and continue to walk away more and more pleased with his work. I highly recommend him!
