With all the convenience store chains out there, you forget that family owned, small, dingy convenience stores still exist. But they do, and 1 Plus is the perfect example of just such a place. I wonder when the last time was that this place was dusted. I had to pick up a pair of stockings because I managed to get caught on the metro door and rip a hole in the ones I was wearing. The friendly lady at the counter pointed me towards the shelf on which they were located. I found them, and easily made my selection as I only had one choice, ran my finger over the plastic in order to see the price($ 1.50) and rubbed the black off my finger. The cons: it’s small, dusty, dirty and a bit dingy. The pros: the woman at the counter was friendly, helpful and pleasant. The were just about fully stocked. They had stockings to help out a girl in first day of new job need. I liked this place. Sadly, it’s not clean or big enough to give it more than 3 stars. But I would happily go back here for my convenience store needs. — — — — — — — — — — — - Update: Jan 10, 2008 AHHHHHHHHHHHHHMOOOOOOOOOOOOUSE!(–1 star)
