We live in Rock Hill 20 minutes away and were very excited to discover this place. Very friendly people, delicious food and we loved the atmosphere especially because of the history that comes with it. We’ll definitely be back!

This building was the scene of the Bethel Country Store, a landmark building on the road to the original 1969 Woodstock Music and Art Festival. My DH and I attended the 1969 concert and the store still looks the same as it did in 1969 all but a good coat of paint. This weekend we came back to Bethel Woods for a concert and the next day had a delicious breakfast here. I had a Quesadilla with scrambled eggs, onions, peppers wrapped up in a tortilla. My DH had traditional fried eggs sausage and home fries. We both really enjoyed our breakfast. The room was decorated in antiques and gift items which added to the history of the place It is open for breakfast and lunch.

Awesome French toast and atmosphere– a gem in this rural location. We had the place to ourselves but I bet it gets much busier in high season.

Have been coming to this place for years. This morning my girlfriend and I ordered the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich, on a fresh bagel… fantastic…so good we ordered another. Very friendly servers, always able to get a seat, fresh produce, eggs, bread and a one of a kind historical building.

Delicious breakfast right on the highway. Doesn’t look like much from outside, but very cute inside, and the food is great! I recommend the farmers plate with bacon(if you like crispy bacon).

I had the split pea soup which my server said she just loved because the broth was lighter than most split pea soups. I must say that I agree with her. Bethel market café has a pulse on peas that is second to none. I also had what they call a wrap but is just a breakfast burrito. This item was also very tasty. The eggs were perfectly cooked and the bacon and cheese came together in jarring brilliance. The staff is very friendly and the prices are just right! Can’t go wrong with a visit here.

What a fantastic lunch myself and my family had here last week! The girl working was so friendly. I have a 16 month old and she brought out a booster seat; so convenient! I cannot stress enough about how friendly the girl working there was! The food was so great! My son had a grilled cheese and oranges. I had a grilled cheese. My husband and dad had the delicious blt; they both said it was one of the best they ever had. My mom had a bagel with cream cheese. Everything tasted so good and you can tell they made everything on the spot. I will definitely go back when I am in town again!

Great local bfast joint! Highly recommended, local maple syrup made my French toast taste amazing and the service was fast and friendly! From a white lake local this place was just what I hoped it would be with lots of fresh baked goodies and I can’t wait to go back yum! So glad I didn’t have to drive into Monticello. Weekends get busy but the atmosphere is lovely and worth the trip!

I’d like to say I’m a regular here, I often get brunch on sundays and during the week on my lunch order to go. There hasn’t been a single time that I was disappointed with anything! Service is excellent, coffee is far from bland, and the food is out of this world. They have a wonderful selection of breakfast items, salads and sandwiches. An added bonus is the atmosphere. If I could give them a higher rating than 5 stars I would!

I pass BMC all the time, but finally made a special trip to try them out. Very cute, rustic spot. Service is friendly and attentive. I went against my initial pick of eggs sunnyside up in order to try the famous All in a Wrap Breakfast Burrito. The homefries were well seasoned, the bacon crisp, the cheese had the right amount of meltiness, and the eggs were perfectly cooked. The twisted orange slice completed the beautiful plate. While you wait, there are plenty of odds and ends to explore on the shelves.

One waitress no matter how busy. Guess they are too cheap to put someone else on. It’s packed all summer so it’s not like he’s not making the money. Charming inside and I was dying to get in there for like twenty years but not worth the wait. Sorry.

Delicious! This converted home from the 1800’s is all charm. Everything from the veggie wrap to the chicken quesadilla was spot on. It’s a great pit stop on the way to Bethel Woods. I’ll definitely be back.

An Oasis in the middle of no where! I found myself with no internet signal so I had to resort to asking a local woman at a gas station if she knew a good place for breakfast in the area & she suggested Bethel Market Café, I’m glad I asked her! This was great place to stop for Coffee, Breakfast or Baked goods! Cute place, great service & cheap prices & free WiFi! don’t pass this place up you won’t find better in this neck of the woods.

Returned for brunch and shared an omelette with a friend. It was huge and the perfect size for us to share! We then split a giant apple turnover between us and another friend, and it was delicious.
