Subsequent experiences have left us repulsed by Neopolitan. I witnessed«Johnny,» the older man who works here, wipe sweat from his forehead with an un-gloved hand, and then shove it back into the food he was making(still gloveless). They are repeatedly out of menu items, but they refuse to tell customers this. They put whatever substitution they can improvise into your order, and charge your for it without telling you. When you ask WTF, they say«oops sorry» like it’s no big deal, and do it again the next time. After TENTIMESIN A ROW of missing burger toppings(like ALL toppings, not just one thing), substituting greasy disgusting toast for kaiser rolls, giving half the amount of fries they normally do because they are almost out, etc. we finally asked for a refund on our last order. It was MORE than deserved. (Any other takeout place I have ever been to would never sell substitutions without ASKING you first. If they screw up, they replace the meal, or offer a refund. One time Newtown Pizza gave us too few chicken fingers and sent their delivery guy out with a replacement order. THIS is how decent business practice.) I called and explained we did not get what we ordered and I wanted to return it. The young guy, who told me his name was John, gave the old apology, and specifically told me NOT to return it, claiming he would just refund us. I told him I was not going to eat it and had no use for it, and again he promised to refund us. However, the promise was odd because he was not about to take my name, number, or c-card info in order to actually process this refund. I asked how he would refund us without our info? He then HUNGUPONME. I called back and asked again. Again, I was promised the refund, and I guess he pretended to actually take our info, because of course, no refund ever came. I feel like a total fool to have trusted them and given them a chance to make right. The truth is, they don’t care. That is just their attitude. They take your money for greasy-toast non-menu food(with sweat in it), that they themselves would never pay for, and then laugh all the way to the bank. Totally disgusting behavior. In retrospect, I seems«John» told me not to return the food because he knew he couldn’t swindle me out of the money if I physically returned it. They should be ashamed of themselves, but sadly, they’re not. We’ll never go back. This place is gross.

They charged me $ 5 for a $ 3 beer. Also my friend’s chicken was undercooked. The guy working there was nice but obviously had no idea what he was doing. Would never go back.

Nothing fancy but… This is a fun old-fashioned sandwich joint with paneled walls and lots of memorabilia to look at. They have an extensive beer cooler for to go sixpacks. We popped in here before going to our favorite consignment store a few shops down and were not disappointed. Our server was super friendly and gave us plenty of time to look at the basic menu. She showed us a few good options including house made turkey and roast beef. My six-year-old daughter truly enjoyed her delicious BLT sandwich with fresh potato chips. I know it’s silly talking about a BLT sandwich but she’s had a few lately that I thought could’ve been better. This one was made with love and she devoured it. I loved my turkey Reuben specially ordered with coleslaw instead of sauerkraut. They offer a breakfast menu which might be fun to try some time with the kids for a change of pace. The waitress was raving about their Italian hoagie I might try that next time if I can get away from the yummy Rubin. This is not a place for the ladies who lunch. It’s more for the regulars who said around reading their papers chatting with the waitress and leave with a six pack of specialty beers satisfied all around. I give this restaurant 4 stars for the category of dive sandwich joint.

It used to be good but no longer. Last time I ordered Buffalo Cheese Steak, Chicken Tenderloins and Onion Rings. The Onion Rings were soggy and dipping with oil. All three foods were tasting bitter and the issue seems to be with the kind of oil they are using. Totally unhealthy food for me and I’m never going to order again.

I usually come here if I need to stay after school for something since it is within walking distance. The food is AMAZING. My favorite is the real italian hoagie. I can’t really tell what makes it great, but it is. Also, they have some of the best fries around.

Ordered for delivery the Jewish Oven Grinder and the Putter Patty Melt that came with fries and cole slaw. Overall, both sandwiches and sides were delicious; especially the fries, which were thick cut and balanced between crispy and soft. The bread for the Putter had a well-toasted texture and was enhanced by a hint of butter. My only recommendation is for the Jewish to include more meat and onions so that the sandwich is more filling. Delivery was prompt and precise. I asked to have it delivered at 5PM. As I was leaving work, the delivery guy was arriving with the neatly wrapped brown paper bag.

Great reuben without being over the top. If you want 4 inches thick servings of corned beef this is not for you. A classic old-school greasy spoon

If I could give Neopolitan 3.5 would… Walked in around 5pm and the place was empty. Had very friendly service and ordered a turkey hoagie to go. Much to my delight, the turkey is in fact freshly roasted muscle meat and not gross pre-packaged deli meat. Bravo! The ratio of meat/cheese/veg was spot on for me(I always order heavy on the veg). My only gripes and reasons for not a better score are: 1/attendant did not wear gloves and the deli bain marie was in the open so I could see his bare-handed sandwich prep. 2/bread was ok but not great. If they could get a better roll,(yes, Liscio’s does deliver to this area… sesame seeded would be dreamy) that would be super, and finally, 3/yes it nice they have beer, but the prices were too high. $ 18.00 for a 6 pack of craft beer? No thank you. I stopped at Wegmans on the way home and got my 6 pack for $ 10.99.

Not quite a regular, but I’ve been here several times over the past few years. Their hoagies are some of the best in the area, particularly their«Real Italian Hoagie.» They also have all-you-can eat spaghetti on Tuesday nights which is a great bargain. Their portion size is so generous that I’ve actually never ordered a second helping. Unpretentious, friendly service, good food. An all-around decent neighborhood restaurant.

OK, this is an above-average deli. The guy with the pony tail makes an excellent AMAZING chicken cheese steak, and their«Real Italian Hoagie» is just out of this world. The breakfast special is great. Overall, an above-average experience. Give it a try!

My husband and I stopped in here once to get sandwiches. The food was pretty good, but the place looked slightly unsanitary. I am not hurrying back.

This is our mainstay deli. Good sandwiches, good selection of beer, decent waitstaff, and consistently good quality. Try the real Italian Hoagie.

I’ve been going to Neapolitan since I could walk — over twenty years now. Everything I’ve ordered has been fantastic. Pizza steaks and buffalo chicken cheese steaks are must-tries but the real outstanding hoagie is the«real Italian hoagie». Neapolitan imports cheese and meat from Italy to make this hoagie lightyears beyond what competitors have to offer.

A basic deli serving cold and hot sandwiches as well as a few other basic dishes. I have always had a good meal here and the kids enjoy the food. They have a decent beer cooler. You can put together a six pack with a reasonable variety for $ 10. For the quality of the food with the price, I give it the 4 stars. This is not a spot we frequent, but I enjoy coming here.
