McDonald’s

I just had the most entertaining McDonald’s experience at this location. It began with my arriving to the drive through speaker. While continuously shouting «Hello?» I could hear the employee socializing and laughing through the speaker. I suppose she accidentally had the microphone button locked down.
I finally placed my order, received my food, then drove home without checking the bag. When I opened the bag, I was greeted with the most entertaining hot mess I have ever seen. One sandwich wasn’t in a wrapper. Another one was just two pieces of bread with cheese. Another one was in the totally wrong container so I didn’t get any monopoly pieces.
I know this review doesn’t matter. McDonalds will continue to be McDonalds. This is just an entertaining story to share.

The artisan grilled chicken wrap is so good. I tried it for the artisan grilled chicken sandwich for the first time at one of the pilot locations and was excited to learn it finally made its way to other locations.
This location has two drive through order windows and it moves pretty quickly. They are also open late which is a real treat in an area where most of the non-​bar establishments close at 9pm.

The kiddos were in the mood for McDonalds, so we went. We went right around the time where they cut over from the breakfast menu to the lunch menu (10:30am I believe). People had ordered and received their breakfast items, so while I waited in line, I was hoping to get myself breakfast. Well, by the time I got to the register, breakfast was over, and I was in no mood to argue. Not wanting a burger or anything else on the menu, I just went with their Sugar-​Free French Vanilla Latte from the McCafe, and whoa! Since when does McDonalds provide good coffee?! I was quite taken back and surprised, but very glad that Mcdonalds has stepped it up with the McCafe.
Good job Mcdonalds!
Oh, and the décor in the inside of this McDonalds was pretty sweet too. A more upscale, sophisticated MickeyD’s!

Five times I’ve ordered a pretty simple breakfast: egg mcmuffin without canadian bacon. Five times it’s been wrong. First time: just a regular egg mcmuffin. I took off the ham and ate it anyhow. Gross. Second time: an egg mcmuffin without canadian bacon but with extra regular bacon. Weird. Took it off and ate it anyhow. Again, gross. Third and fourth times, just a regular egg mcmuffin. Today I went into the restaurant instead of the drive through so I could check my sandwich. They got closer: an egg white egg mcmuffin with some white cheese. I handed it back and asked for what I ordered. The woman making sandwiches was really confused. Finally I got an egg mcuffin without canadian bacon. Took it to my car, started eating it while driving, only to discover that very clearly she had taken a previously made egg mcmuffin and just removed the canadian bacon. You can tell when a sandwich has had ham sitting on it — you can smell it and taste it. Good thing it’s not against my religion to eat pork or I’d be freaking out about this experience. As is, I’m just grossed out and am not going to go to this McD’s ever again.

S’aight. I’ve swung through here for a couple breakfast burritos and a coffee on more than one occasion. I’m not proud of it, but there ya go. No complaints with the food or service.

Restaurant Review
The golden arches are an american institution that you can’t miss as you travel across our great state. I believe that it is hard for McD to get greater than 3 stars because it is what you expect fast food, okay prices, and quick service. This place did not disappoint in morning hours. Quick breakfast sandwhich, large coffee, and quick check out. Nothing too exciting and nothing too bad.
Pro– .99 cent any size coffee, quick service, drive through, 1 dollar menu
Con– bad for your waist line
Hidden deal– McD has promotions all year round from .99 cent coffee to McDonald monopoly pieces. Check out the website for the latest deals. Also dollar menu to fill you stomach if you are hungry

How the heck can you be out of COKE not once but twice?!! Aren’t McDonald’s and Coca-​Cola synonymous?!
This place should be ashamed of itself! Wonder how Coke would feel if they knew about this?!
On to another location from now on!

It looks very nice after the rebuild, and it’s usually pretty clean. Witha couple TVs in the dining area I guess they want to be the Mickey-D’s Lounge? They have 2 entrances, but the side entrance is next to the drive-​thru… which is now fenced-​off. Drive-​thru seems to be faster than before; I don’t know if it is due to the dual-​lane ordering system (which merges into 1 like in Broadview Plaza). I don’t go out of my way to go here when there’s one a half-​block from the house, but when I’m at my friends’ place it does the trick. And I agree about the shake machine… too many problems for a relatively new piece of hardware.

Sons of bitches. The shake machine is always broken! On a couple separate occassions…
