I used to think they had the best Happy Hour around. I’ve actually been going to Hibachi for years with my friends. We would frequent this place at least 1−2x a month and never left hungry or disappointed until late. The last 2x I went were awful. I’m not sure if the restaurant underwent new ownership or management, but the food has gone terribly downhill(while becoming more expensive) as has the service. In fact, the service is so bad, I don’t think I’ll be returning. When I went yesterday night, the bartender consistently got our food order wrong. We ordered a number of different items and only got about half of them. When we questioned her on where the rest of the food was, she acted like we were crazy and had never ordered it. When we finally got everything and finished out meal, we sat for at least 30 minutes before she even acknowledged our presence again and brought us a check. She thought it was more important to flirt with the Chef at the Sushi Counter than pay attention to her customers. This was the second time this happened to us(same bartender) which tells me that it will continue to happen in the future. Sure the prices are still cheaper than most other sushi/hibachi restaurants, but I’d rather pay more for good food and service than have my meal messed up and not be acknowledged. Thanks but no thanks.

I really enjoyed this place. Our waiter was super friendly, a bit slow, but our chef was the real reason our experience was so good. He did all the tricks, cracked a few funny jokes, but my food was incredible. From the miso soup to the fried rice I throughly enjoyed my meal and the show. I would highly recommend this place, maybe a bit more if the prices were a bit lower. I noticed that they have early bird specials so maybe visit for lunch instead of dinner.

My colleagues and I go to Hibachi at least once a week! Occasionally, they may get backed up and there may be a delay. Sadly, that happens even with pick-up orders. Otherwise, the service is great and their sushi is to die for! I only gave 4 stars because they can improve on their pick-up orders and make it faster for us when we show up. Great place, and if you’re around during lunch time, you should take advantage of their low prices for their delicious sushi.

LOVETHISPLACE! The sushi chef is extremely friendly. For $ 26 all you can eat, it is amazing! The food is fresh and the sushi is very good. I would recommend this place. Happy hour specials are fantastic.

Great Hibachi venue. The service is a bit slow but the staff is super nice. The food is served in great quantities and its fairly delicious. The restaurant is great for groups and it has a such a wonderful atmosphere!

I always come here for $ 30 all-you-can-eat sushi. Their sushi may not be the best, but it is still acceptable. In fact, it’s better than most of the other all-you-can-eat places I’ve been to. Their menu for all-you-can-eat is not as extensive but at least they still have the essentials that most people typically order. I wouldn’t mind seeing more items added to the menu however.

I love their general tsos and the hibachi is always consistently good. Today my waitress was extremely nice which made my dinner even better. They have condensed their chinese menu. Overall I recommend it.

I don’t mind paying a lot of money for really good food, or paying very little money for shitty food. Hibachi of Valley Forge was a good example of the latter. All things relative the food was not that bad, the service was terrible but in a funny way. The waiter was noticeably an asshole, not like he was having a bad day either, he was a dick. The chef was fine. The sushi I got was not great but edible but when it was all said and done I ended up getting a chicken teppanyaki meal and a spicy tuna roll for $ 11 including tip… Takeaways: extremely cheap acceptable food and a comically rude waiter. I will probably return to this awful restaurant.

Shrimp tempura was more like fried shrimp frozen from a box. Very dissatisfied. Waiter forgot our soup and salad and had to be reminded. 6 people $ 200. Save your money for a real Japanese restaurant

Went here for happy hour a few weeks ago with some associates and enjoyed myself. Drinks were good as well as prices. The sushi was ok. Glad I didn’t get the all you can eat. I’ve had better. Their General Tsos was delicious! Service was good. Love the length of time for happy hour and it is on the weekends!!! Sweeet!!! I’ll be back! Enjoy!

It was not great but it was good. The rice was sticky and the flavors were not well integrated in the rolls. But they have cheap prices.

Absolute Mediocrity — but very reasonably priced. Also note — the $ 4.99 Lunch special is for the regular Chicken teriyaki(not the teppanyaki/hibachi grill). If you want Hibachi it starts at $ 6.99(Veggies only) and goes up from there. I came with a work group of 4 and the place was quiet on a Summer Friday at 12 noon. Another group of 3 was at the other end of our table. I had the $ 8.95 Shrimp teriyaki lunch and it was fine. They did the onion volcano and the«chuck the shrimp at the customer» thing and my 10 year old would have loved it. VERY cheap bill — $ 65 for 4 people. Simple, edible food. Sushi looked OK — but the gal who ordered sushi only got an avocado roll. I likely would not order nigiri or sashimi here. Super Americanized from the gloppy mayo on the iceberg salad(I forgot to ask for dressing on the side) to having to ASK for chopsticks. I am in no hurry to rush back — but that said, my colleagues have lunch here every other Friday. WHATEVER.

5 words. ALLYOUCANEATSUSHI. This is the only place I know of who does this and I love it! It’s relatively cheap too for the quality of sushi you are getting. Along with the«all you can eat» you also get unlimited rice, fried rice, soup, salad, and tempura. This is basically an out of this world deal. When I don’t get the«all you can eat sushi» I get the scallop fried rice, which is also very delicious. I definitely recommend this place!

It has been 3 years since my last review of my favorite happy hour in the county, and I thought it would be worth an update. Happy hour has not changed one little bit. Same long hours, same exact items, and same great low prices. Sounds boring, but when you realize how many places constantly change their specials to be smaller and pricier every week, Hibachi starts to sound a lot more special! I go nearly every week for the delicious $ 4 long islands, cheap and tasty sushi, and to say hi to my favorite bartender. Sunday is a small lady, who always has a big smile on her face and remembers everybody and their orders. She keeps it together even when the bar is crazy packed, which is something a lot of more experienced bartenders have a tough time with. If you’re looking for a new happy hour, this is your place! When you want to try it out, let me know. I may already be there!

One of the best hibachi’s in the area. You can’t go wrong with the chicken teriyaki. Upgrade to the chicken fried rice. It may be the best I’ve ever had. The lunch specials are cheap as hell! 4 of us for lunch was $ 33 without tip. The staff is so nice, they even came out to help me jump my car. Thanks again guys! We will be back.

Hibachi was just average. good size portion but flavoring was a little off. Even the fried rice had some sweet sauce?

This is hands down my favorite place to go for happy hour. They have wonderful long Island or as they have appropriately nicknamed«strong Island» Iced teas for $ 4 and many inexpensive sushi rolls and hibachi specials weeknights until 8:30 pm in the bar area. The bartenders are excellent and always very friendly. Sushi is decently good, but not the best, certainly the best value for your buck. I highly recommend for a fun night out when you don’t want to break the bank.

Bad weather out so we came here to escape the rush hour traffic that was our first mistake. Our second mistake was getting the All you can eat«deal» First we were given the regular menu by the hostess. The waiter came over to ask us what we wanted to drink and seemed visibly annoyed when we just asked for water for now. We asked what we could order from the menu for all you can eat he said«oh your doing all you can eat» again sounding annoyed and said anything but the lobster roll on the menu than we tried to clarify so we can order anything off the menu he said«wait no hold on» and got than a paper menu you can fill in with a pencil which is just like how the Hibachi in Springfield handles it. It seemed like they didn’t want us to order all you can eat. When the water came we got room temp water with no ice or lemon. We noticed the table next to us got a lemon in their water, I guess they didn’t get all you can eat. We ordered a few regular rolls some specialty rolls and a few appetizers they brought out basically half of what we ordered(all regular rolls). I am assuming we were brought sushi but it was basically rice balls with barely anything in the middle. There was so much rice(I am assuming to fill up the all you can eat customer) it was a joke. We basically started peeling off a thick layer of rice before eating each piece. After about 20 mins we realized they had not brought anything else out seemed like they were hoping we would be so full of rice they wouldn’t have to bring anything else. We waited to see if they would bring the rest of our food when they picked up our finished plates, that did not happen. The waiter asked if we were done no mention of the rest of our order at this time. I figured best to cut our losses and just leave no point in complaining than waiting more for food that would probably just be bad or messed with anyway. We have been to other Hibachi’s in the area Jenkintown and Springfield and had much better experiences. This place is a dump, poorly run and bad service They are trying to get out of giving any type of quality food on the all you can eat. Don’t offer all you can eat and than give people crappy food so they don’t want to eat it. Bottom Line — THISPLACESUCKS

I’m not the biggest fan of sushi so when I come through giving a 5 star it’s for a good reason. The. Best. Happy. Hour, ever! I had a little of everything: shrimp tempura, chicken egg roll, edamame, sake, Long Island iced tea for 16 bucks. Unbelievably priced, great service and the food was 3 star worthy. The shrimp tempura was not quite great but still, good. The roll was missing the tempura taste. I would have liked a little more crunch but then again, did I mention the price?! It’s a steal. I loved the chicken egg roll. The edamame was good, however a tad too much salt for me. Sake… long island iced tea… mmmmm. Surprisingly, they don’t skimp on the liquor. After my friends and I grubbed out, we were totally full and each of us thought it was well worth it!
