Been here a few times. Decided they needed a Unilocal review. This is the best Mexican food around for the money. Big menu. But. sometimes they use way too much salt on things! Seriously.. I think twice my food was way way too salty… It’s not a fancy restaurant. It’s not cheap but not expensive either. I always order ala cart Chile Rellano with red sauce. The Chile Rellano is soooo good with that great white melty cheese. My BF always tries something different. Today he got the Molcajete which looks as good as it taste. It was a little heavy on the seasoning but it was very good, it came with enough for him to take some home as leftovers. Salsa is good, chips are ok. It gets pretty packed on Sundays. They have lots of waitresses and waiters and they all do a good job and keep drinks filled. Fast service. The best service in fact compared to the other places I’ve been around here. I just wish these restaurants around here would keep their décor more appealing. For some reason restaurants around here always have old stoves and old tables and just stuff they don’t use is always in sight. They should take pride in their business and clean things up a bit. No alcohol yet, apparently just filed for their liquor license. Parking lot can be a small pain if you have a big truck that’s hard to turn around. They have plenty of booths and tables for larger parties, however the booths are old and make squeeking noises the whole time your eatting. They need to spend some money and update the décor big time. The food compares to Dos Rios, but the menu here is way way waaaayyy better! I had to deduct two stars for the poor booths and seating and cleanliness and décor.
