I go to this McDonald more than I should admit, lol We live out of town by my kids go to school in town, so I do a lot of sitting and soaking up refills and wifi. My high school daughter can feel safe walking there to wait for me and get a snack or a meal if I’m running late. They have lots of teens before games and evening activities and they treat them just as good as adults. The staff are friendly and work hard. I like that the recognize us and the place is always clean. The food is always as ordered.

I ordered my food and asked for fresh food and the sandwich was good but fries weren’t very hot. After eating I went to use the restroom and it was kinda gross. I probably won’t be back anytime soon. The staff that I dealt with very nice.

McDonald’s in Berrien accommodates my gluten-free diet; it is a place for us to watch news because we don’t have TV at home; it is a place to meet others from town over coffee; a place to go when the Internet is down at home; and a place to get an inexpensive senior decaf coffee! McDonald’s is a general meeting place. Occasionally the place is a bit too loud for me, but it is not intolerable. This McDonald’s, and other McDonalds’, is my place to go when convenience is necessary.

While this is just a typical McDonald’s, it does hold the distinction of only being a mile from Muhammad Ali’s Berrien Springs estate and the Champ used to walk here once in a while. He doesn’t live there at the time, but he still owns the estate.

McDonald’s sucks, and this one is no different, they do get one star for being opened past 5pm
