Yep the sandwiches are good! But they are confused on who’s in charge. Especially when they continue to mess up your order. The only way to fix your order is to buy another sandwich. Guess in this case the customer is not right. If you want to good sandwich buy one and enjoy. But don’t expect to get what you asked for. and don’t ask for manager you won’t get one.

This overhyped sandwich shop is the best in a small town with almost no rivals. With that being said, they do offer a healthy selection of bread, accessories and meat options. Vegetarians will enjoy this place because of the various options to choose from. Try the Hawaiian Chicken!

The service here is seriously bad. The sandwiches are fine, but the amount of time it takes to get a sandwich is crazy! I was the first one in the door and still waited 20 minutes after ordering! I have no idea why they are so slow. Employees don’t like working there and don’t care to do a good job. Managment doesn’t know how to hire or manage like a professional. They are very lucky they have good food or they would be out of business within 6 months. Try to be friendly and smile once in a while people! It’s not like you work in a prision!

You can’t go wrong, every sandwich is awesome! Try the Chicken and Pineapple with the curry sauce.

Best sandwich shop in Berrien Springs. We love the vegetarian meatball sandwich. We have never had a sandwich we didn’t like. The lattes are too weak for me, taste like hot skim milk. The shop is cute and clean inside.

Having been here five times now I thought it time for a review. First, the people: friendly and professional. Only one time where the conversation behind the counter got in the way of service. They pay attention to your order and make sure that they have it correct. The basic coffee is excellent. The espresso is uninspired. The pastries they offer are good for pre-made bake on the premise type, but at least they bake them properly so they turn out as well as they can. The sandwiches are EXCELLENT! Top quality ingredients, mechanics, and baking. For those who go meatless or just want a tasty sandwich I highly recommend the Egg Sandwich. Not wanting my sandwich drenched I get the curry sauce on the side and put it on myself. Other than the one service issue my only complaint is that the curry sauce needs more flavour. They keep the place clean and serve their customers well.

Best place to a sandwich in Southwest Michigan! My personal favorite is the Veggie Turkey on multigrain bread with tomato pesto sauce, all the veggies(–jalepenos) and provolone cheese! Makes my mouth water just to write about it!

Great sandwiches! Gotta check them out… eat there too :). The buffalo chicken is great and make sure to get a side of garlic sauce with it. I prefer the 7 grain bread. Very reasonable for then unique and delicious sandwich that you get. Lots of veggie options too if that’s your thing. Local owner — great place.

Seriously, this place is just random. Wouldn’t have picked it from any other sandwich shop, except that the Unilocal reviews were stellar! We tried another location closer to St. Joes and this one reigns supreme. Many varieties of sandwiches but the money is in the bread! Crunchy toasted on the outside but super soft and pillowy on the inside. The spreads really can add to a sandwich as well. The garlic is popular but also tried pesto and curry, both would work on the right sandwich. Lastly, want to point out their tomato bisque… DOIT, it’s really amazing. Comes with a side of bread for dipping. Random, yes, but super tasty, yes!

Some of my favorite sandwiches are the Ruben, Roast beef with tomato pesto sauce, Bourbon Chicken, and the vegetarian BBQ meatball sandwich. They have some great chai tea.

I thought it was a bakery by the name, but nope, it’s a sandwich spot. The bread was excellent and the buffalo chicken was yummy. Good lunch spot!

I love this place!!! Every time I’m in the Berrien Springs area I go here. It’s expensive but so worth every penny. I loved the service I got today too. They’ve recently done some remodeling making the place even more inviting. This place is perfect for vegetarians!!!

You know what makes a sandwich so good? It’s the bread and Baguette de France’s sourdough baguette is on point! In all of my years going to this spot, the bread has consistently been excellent. Sometimes, I forego a sandwich and just get a sourdough baguette with a side of sauce – an excellent(although a little plain) meal in itself. My absolute favorite sandwich is the Chicken Hawaii. The sweetness of the pineapple really balances out the savory chicken and delicious bread wonderfully. If I’m not feeling chicken, I usually replace it with tuna or roast beef – all excellent sandwiches! After the bread what really makes Baguette de France’s sandwiches so good has to be their sauces. Garlic sauce is my personal favorite. That being said, they sometimes put too much sauce on the sandwich so ask for it on the side instead and apply it yourself as you eat. The price point is fair, being about a $ 8 sandwich for full size. My only complaint has to be the staff. Once in a while, I’ll experience staff members who seem to be a little on the incompetent side. Once, when my order was not made correctly(I actually paid a little more for sprouts in my sandwich and it wasn’t put in), a staff member didn’t even offer to correct it with a new sandwich and kind of gave me an «oh well» look. Aside from this, the staff is ignorable when considering how great the food is. The restaurant itself was newly renovated this past year, making it a lot more spacious than before. Great place for a casual lunch/dinner with friends or a quick pick-up on the way home.

This is one of the best sandwich spots I know. They recently remodeled the place. They also added illy coffee & pastries. However, they are kind of lacking on their drinks. I recommend the Buffalo chicken as well as the bourbon chicken. Their garlic sauce is a great addition to their sandwiches. Bön Appétit! :)

Wow, I do not tire of these sandwiches. They’re just so darn tasty. The menu consists of meat sandwiches and an entire side of vegetarian sandwiches… with vege meats which are fantastic. The bread is fresh baked daily(I’ve had a few of my sandwiches come out on oven-hot bread… mouth-watering, much?), and they use good, fresh ingredients. I’ve only had the vegetarian sandwiches, so I can only comment on those. But, there are always loads of people lined up to get both. The sauce is what may be the magic here. Garlic, herb, curry, & more. Delicious. They also serve Illy coffee drinks, a few French pastries, and have recently added one of those soda/pop drink machines where you can choose from 100’s of options. Mind you, with the sauce and various meats & toppings options, these aren’t the lowest calorie sandwiches if you’re not careful. But you can make lower-cal choices, if desired. Be prepared to wait a bit, unless you’re the only one there(rare). The sandwiches are made with care & take a little time to make. But they move as quickly as they can and typically have an abundance of staff scheduled. They recently renovated the dining room, which is 100% better. Much more inviting and conducive to comfortable dining. Looks like they’re giving the exterior a facelift as well. Recommended all around. You will not be disappointed.
