Their American style Cheese in separate slices is great ! A large block of individually sliced is half the cost of the store brand that is made with oil. Their cheese is 100% cheese(milk) and does not contain any oil(Cheese Product). Best place in the area to purchase cheese.

This is a small cheese shop with a nice selection. Like all these kind of places, free samples are here to be had. Including pumpkin pie cheese, sounds better than it is. There is a couple more unique tours like raw milk, and green cheese options. This goes past your regular flavored cheeses. The only part is you can get smaller pieces of cheese here. This is either more varieties or more troops needed. They have a decent assortment of Amish goods but you’re in Amish country. Most of the packages are from walnut creek, oh.

Who doesn’t want to stop and shop at a store filled with cheese? LOTS of options, great prices and they offer raw cheeses too! If you need chips or snacks they have those things too.

A must visit if you’re in the area or passing through! We brought a little cooler just so we could buy some cheese and bring it home 6 hours away. They have a lot of homemade and local items, like snacks, candies, relishes, jams, chips, sauces, root beer and other drinks. And of course, many kinds of cheese — both cow and goat, raw and not. Lots of interesting flavors of cheese too. Very fresh and soft. Good prices — better than the local cheese we buy at our local farmer’s markets. I also was ecstatic to find local honey and maple syrup for WAY cheaper than anywhere I’ve seen, so I stocked up! We’ll be back!

While driving south on Indiana Highway 27 on the way to Portland, Indiana, I happened to spot this place from the road. Really, if I hadn’t looked the right direction at the right time, I may have passed right by it. It was a small yellow pole building with a sign that said«Swissland Cheese Company». I drove up the lot and saw that it had an outlet store. The sign on the building said that they manufacture organic and fine cheeses. The shop itself had the usual tourist crap but they did have a cooler with cheeses made on site. They make Havarti, Swiss, Cheddar and Colby apparently. I bought a container of cheese curds and some Habanero Havarti, Havarti with dill and Swiss cheese. The only one I’ve tried so far is the curds. These are Havarti curds and they are different from the usual cheddar cheese curds I buy, very creamy and buttery… I ate the whole damn container during the drive, they were that good. Prices were pretty reasonable too. Most roadside cheese shops gouge their customers but this place was not one of them. Between $ 3.50 to $ 4.50 a pound depending on what you get. I will definitely have to stop in again if I pass this place heading north.
