Great tasting pizza and salad bar. We ordered the Italian Sausage 14 inch Pizza. The toppings were excellent. Plenty of cheese and sausage and sauce without going overboard on any of them. The crust was soft and not hard and it was not paper thin like many other pizza places. The pizza was hot and it only took less than 10 minutes to prepare. The waitress was cheerful and made certain our glasses were full. The price was right also. We had a 14 inch two topping sausage pizza and 1 salad bar and 2 cokes and the total cost with a generous tip was under $ 20.00. I would recommend this place to anyone. After 5PM they has a pizza buffet with salad bar.

I had given this place a bad review, several times I had been here with minimal amounts of food on Buffet & a lot of people sitting around waiting for food. The owner gave me an email & said things were going to change…& I’m happy to say it has. I came in and had the Buffet, there weren’t many people on a dreary Monday but there was more Pizza on the line than I’d seen in a long time. Tony Mellencamp has always been in house working his backside off, the staff is always cleaning/serving/topping off drinks. No, EOC will never serve state of the art pizza but they do Pizza well & try new Pizzas/Subs. Good Food kept coming out, people kept coming in and I want to change my negative review. We have been visiting the East of Chicago Pizza Co in Berne for a long time. I have to say that Tony has it going well. Great selection of pizza, clean atmosphere, and a great waitress! Look forward to the next time.
