Great place to stay when you’re going to Coachella. Its in a quiet, gated community about 10 mins away from the polo fields. Each room is a suite with one bathroom. Theres one king sized bed and a comfy queen sofa pull-out. The room and appliances don’t look run down, but are modern and appear new. Theres a kitchen with dishwasher, sink, fridge, and microwave; utensils and plates are provided. They also have a gas grill outside — perfect for cooking up marinated chicken and skirt steaks which can be shredded and put into some warm corn tortillas, topped with corn salsa and cotija cheese. Care for a nice cold beer?

The Dunes is inside of a private country club, so you have to stop by the guard booth at the gate to get admitted. Yes, you are at the right place; just give the guard your reservation number and name and you get right in. And once inside… Wow, this place is a steal! [Thanks fellow Unilocalers for the heads-up!] For $ 59 I wasn’t expecting much, but the rooms were great. Huge king size beds, flat screen televisions, VERY nicely decorated. Even a kitchenette area and your own barbecue outside on the patio. The only downside is that you can’t stay here forever. Apparently, they’re selling off the units as multi-owner condos or something. So, eventually this won’t even be a hotel… but while it is I would definitely stay here again.

Great place!!! Stayed there on new years eve for only $ 79!!! Very spacious, very comfortable, and QUIET! I recommend it for more than one night… And call them directly, they always have rooms available for even cheaper than i have seen on Expedia or Orbitz.

I booked this place when I had to attend a memorial service in Palm Desert and wanted some place inexpensive for me and my husband to stay. This place was a dream. I got a great deal on Expedia for a studio suite. It was gorgeous. It had a lovely king size bed, a sitting area with a flat panel tv, a lovely outdoor patio with a propane grill and a kitchenette and pretty large closet and complimentary Internet. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. There isn’t any food onsite, but the beauty of this place is you can cook your own meals with the kitchenette and grill outside. I wish I would have spent more time here. I highly recommend this hotel. It is a pretty good distance from Palm Springs proper, but it’s a stone’s throw to the other desert cities like Palm Desert, Indian Wells, and La Quinta. Highway 111 has a bunch of eating places if you choose to dine out. I can’t wait to go back.

Excellent price, great service, top quality. The rooms and facilities are excellent — I was suspicious for the price but was totally overcome when I got there. Went for a romantic weekend and it was perfect. The kitchenettes and propane grills in each room make it easy to take all you food with you so you never have to leave poolside if you don’t want. Palm Springs and area attractions were a 15 – 20 minutes drive — not bad at all.

I have been working in the Salton Sea for 6 months and have been staying at this desert oasis in the middle of the Bermuda Dunes Country Club(the first site of the Bob Hope Classic). The Dunes is comprised of 27 studios, one bed room and two bedroom villas. The villas are perfect for a family vacation because it has a full kitchen, washer and dryer. The villa even has its own private jacuzzi. All the units have a large gas BBQ on its patio. There’s a large pool, jacuzzi and fire pit to relax by day or night. This place great if want to spend a quiet and relaxing holiday or romantic getaway. Its only 20 minutes from downtown Palm Springs and with minutes from the best golf courses and resorts.
