This place is awesome. As for the clothing, though, it’s best if you’re a smaller size. If you’re a larger misses size or a plus-size, the selection isn’t as great. This is a general observation, and of course the merchandise changes regularly. But it seems to me the smaller clothing size you wear and the smaller your shoe size, the better luck you will have in scoring some clothing bargains. My jackpot today was furniture. I purchased a brand new Fleur de lis lamp that I picked up for $ 75. It had a price tag of $ 139 hanging on it, and I also found the same lamp, same make on the Web for as high as $ 179. Let’s just say I’m thrilled. It’s a gorgeous lamp. The other bargain I scored was a vintage, French Country accent chair. It is gently used, but it is gorgeous and it was only $ 50. There is a slight stain on the seat cushion, but it is barely noticeable. I love the chair and it was a true bargain. The prices on the furniture were almost too low to be believed. The staff were helpful and kind. Very, very nice people and they support a great mission to help others with the proceeds of the sales. If you’re in the area, it would be worth a visit

This place was very interesting. A lot of things were grossly overpriced, but also grossly under priced. However, if you have the patience to dig around for deals, you won’t be disappointed. To start off: the clothes. There were two racks, spanning ¾ of the store with clothes like t-shirts and blouses and pants. There was also a rack against the wall that was home to the homemade Amish dresses. The clothes were not expensive at all, and it was awesome! A typical thrift store sells shirts for $ 3 – 5, and dresses for around $ 5 – 8. The blouses here were only a couple dollars, and so were the dresses. The Amish dresses were all hand made, and only $ 2! Honestly, I couldn’t resist. The changing rooms were the bathrooms, which is better than no changing rooms at all. And yes, I did end up purchasing two different Amish-style dresses. Now onto the kitchenware. There were sooo many jewels hidden among the rows and rows of random stuff. I found an old-fashioned meat grinder, made of stainless steel that you have to bolt onto the table. I bought it, because it was very reasonably priced, and because it is freaking awesome. One of my friends got a few old Coca Cola tins from the ‘80s, and some glass jars from the ‘70s. I saw all sorts of old-fashioned, but still usable, kitchen appliances. Lots of very cool things. There was also an old Singer sewing machine, and a newer ‘70s model pasta maker. So, honestly a lot of awesome kitchen nick knacks. I will say, however, that the cashier swindled my friend out of some money. We were a bit rushed in leaving because it was closing time, so we weren’t totally watchful of our expenses. So I’ll say it’s best to count your purchases out, so the same doesn’t happen to you.
