I am a Wesleyan student and called around to multiple bowling alleys to see if they would be able to accommodate me in filming a short film project set in a bowling alley. Every single manager was nasty and hostile until I called Jeff, the owner of Berlin Bowling Center who couldn’t have been nicer. Well, we shot the film there for a few hours, but then we played a few games and we had the best time ever. The staff is incredibly kind and accommodating, the food is delicious, and the bowling was extremely fun. I know that I will be coming back here soon. The bowling alley is first-rate and I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Went here for a family bowling outing with my in-laws. We had 6 adults and two children– one 8 and one 5. It is not the most updated bowling alley I’ve been to, but it was clean and everything worked just fine. The guy working was very nice. He set up one lane with bumpers for the kids and grandparents and one lane without because they do not have the newer system that puts the bumpers down for only certain bowlers. They have weekend family specials. The one we did was for $ 20, you get an hour of bowling and shoe rentals for 4 people. This also includes hot dogs and soda. I didn’t have a hot dog or soda, but it was a better deal than paying individually. The only drawback was that there were no 5 or 6 pound balls for the kids to bowl with. They were given a 7 pound ball. I usually bowl with an 8 or 9 pound ball and it took me forever just to find a 9 pound one. Every other bowling alley I’ve ever visited had 6 pound and above out for anyone to use. They guy brought the 7 pound one from behind the counter. Other than that, this place was a nice place to bowl and we would go back.
