The Star Drive In

I found Star Drive In just ok. The clam cakes are my favorite food there, even then, they are not consistant as far as taste goes!

Me and the kids went here the other day, It was a nice sunny day and I was dying for clam strips. They of course wanted hot dogs. Ordered at the window and about 5 minutes later my number was called. I think every order goes in to go boxes, which worked out great because the kids wanted to eat at the picnic tables outside.
I am not by any means an expert on seafood. Those were the best fried clam strips I have ever had! Star Drive In kills anything down the Cape with clams Strips! The box was jammed and I mean jammed with clams and fries. The fries were crispy tasted great. Even the coleslaw was fantastic. I don’t even like coleslaw!
The kids loved their hot dogs too. Usually I have to beg and bribe them to eat. They ate everything.
We will be going back… real soon!

Disappointed took my kids for ice cream and fries. Have to now pay at separate windows for ice cream and then food. Fries are now cheaper Sysco fries, my daughter ordered a soft serve mix ice cream, after we paid was told the machine was broken. She then asked for hard ice cream with hot fudge. The fudge was actually luke warm to cover one scoop of ice cream. Used to love the star, really want to see them succeed, but no wow factor, service was great but food and ice cream below average

Love this place! We stop by for a bite to eat every now and then. Burgers and ice cream! They’re cheap and it’s really good.

My wife and I stopped at this old favorite. It’s under new management. We both had fish and chips. The place was very busy. Our fish was very good, obviously fresh not frozen. Food was hot. The order came quickly. All in all, we were delighted with the meal.
