Thank goodness for United Pharmacy. During these times of rising medical and drug costs, I can always count on United to provide low cost, efficient and friendly services. Pam and Gabe know the inventory and can provide price quotes on the spot. And the fact that they can turn around prescriptions in less than 10 minutes never ceases to astound me. As I told them recently, I’m surprised there isn’t a line going out their door. Let the other Unilocal reviewer go to Walgreens. May she find something to be angry about while waiting in line for what can seem forever. I have had my prescription filled at a much lower cost and am already outside enjoying out beautiful California weather! And shared a smile and laugh with Pam and Gabe.

I have only had good, kind, positive experiences with this business. Gabe and Pam have always been courteous. My meds. were in good condition. I don’t know what the other reviewers experienced, but I have been here for 10 years. and still using them.

This is a dreadful pharmacy. The technician, Gabriel, was rude, pointedly ignoring me while I waited for a new fax from my doctor’s office since the original one apparently didn’t come through.(I had to call my doctor’s office to get them to re fax the prescription since Gabriel said he could not do it.) I had to keep asking him to check the fax machine before he finally got up and found the new faxed prescription there. He filled the two scripts for me, and when I got to work I found that the Advair inhaler, to help me breathe a little better since I was so sick with bronchitis, was expired. He sold me an expired medication! When I called he told me to bring it back but a new one wouldn’t be in until the next day. When I told him I had to have it today to start breathing more easily he agreed to fax the prescription to my local home pharmacy. I provided the number to him. When I went to pick it up, hours later after work, it hadn’t been faxed. I had nothing! I would never consider giving this place business. Isn’t there a law about selling expired meds? Shouldn’t he have checked? Bad rude incompetent to the point of maybe dangerous.

Seeing the other review on this site, I just had to write my own. I have been using United Pharmacy for years and can’t imagine going back to one of the big chain store pharmacies. At United Pharmacy, I walk in with my prescription and walk out within 10 minutes with the medication. I can’t remember a trip to Walgreens that took less than 30 minutes(on a good day!) The staff are very helpful and have worked with me to find better deals to work within my insurance restrictions. Sure, they have a smaller selection of medications. But they always have the most basic antibiotics that we need on an immediate basis. And, seriously, it is faster to drop off a prescription one day, hear that they will have to order the medication(so no worries about it being«old») and go back to pick it up another day than to make a single trip to a bigger pharmacy. Plus, while their selection of other items is small, everything is priced well. Having United Pharmacy in the neighborhood is absolutely wonderful! I hope they can stand up to the pressure from the big stores and continue to offer outstanding convenience and customer service.

There was a human hair in my bottle of pills when I got home! … and not one that could have come from my body. Not to mention: — there were also bits of plastic-looking debris amongst the pills –they were out of stock of this antibiotic and could only provide me with 8 out of 14 pills but charged me full price — they yelled at me when I called to complain, screaming that«that’s impossible; you put the hair in there; you are crazy; you can’t return pills» before hanging up on me! — after having the prescription transfered to Walgreens, I returned to get my money back and prove that the hair was indeed real, and the pharmacist helping me denied yelling or hanging up on me but still refused to apologize or acknowledge/account for what had happened — she also denied seeing the hair that was RIGHT in front of her face even after I pointed to it multiple times, so I had to have her assistant verify it’s location and show it to her — I made my doctor’s appointment(where I got the prescription) that same morning because my condition was so painful that I almost had to go to the ER, and all this ridiculousness delayed me from getting my medication over 6 hours longer — the business is poorly stocked and with very old items — the pharmacists are extremely unprofessional — the behind-the-counter medications are easily accessible(not very secured) and extremely cluttered — the three items above this one make me think the business is crooked, unsafe, or a front — the service I received was absolutely horrendous — I can’t even imagine what other health/safety/legal violations are being perpetrated by these folks — I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau as well as the California Board of Pharmacy
