Sherry Yang, DAOM, LAc

I have been under the care of Dr. Sherry Yang for several years now. I go to her in times of crisis and also for regular tune-​ups. In either case she is quick and accurate in her diagnosis of what is ailing me and/​or what body systems need support. She utilizes traditional Chinese medical knowledge and training, and also applies concepts from Western medicine. Thus her approach is rather complete and balanced, as she is able to reach across a broad spectrum of knowledge and experience. One aspect I especially enjoy is Dr. Yang’s willingness to explain, if asked, what she is observing and aspects of her subsequent treatment strategy.

Dr. Sherry is a skilled and thoughtful acupuncturist. I have seen her for over 10 years for treatment for insomnia, sports injuries and muscular pain management. She combines compassion and a rigorous medical and alternative medicine training — the only acupuncturist I’ve seen who has both stellar Western and Eastern medicine qualifications. Her background made me feel immediately comfortable even though I was initially hesitant about acupuncture.
The patient experience is of premium quality, from the highest quality needles to the herbs/​supplements, to post-​treatment tea. Her place does not feel like an office, or a clinic. It is bright, clean and warm.
I’ve noticed that the majority of her patients are repeats and extremely loyal to her. Many, like myself, see her even after our initial issues have been successfully treated. The familiar faces over the years at her office are a testament to her healing presence and remarkable abilities to alleviate pain.

Sherry has been my acupuncturist for about 6 years now — she literally saved my life! She diagnosed my thyroid condition (when my own medical doctor could not) and was able to help me into remission. I see Sherry every week for general well being and have not been sick in over 4 years! Sherry is also an MD, and her medical background is really great when combined with acupuncture. Further, Sherry is a wonderful person and a delight to work with. Btw, I would go to Sherry with any medical issue, but in particular has been a great help with autoimmune issues, allergies, back problems, knee problems and asthma.

I’ve been going to get treatments from Sherry for about six months now and I’ve seen a lot of improvement in my general well being. I went to see her for seasonal allergies and the symptoms of runny stuffy nose and itchy eyes have been reduced.
I look forward to her treatments because they’re incredibly relaxing and helps me to get on with my daily life a lot easier. She is also a kind and a good listener.
