I’ve had quite a few Thai massages from Alok. He has a gentle, grounded presence that immediately put me at ease and ready to relax. He has an incredibly intuitive touch and is immensely skilled at finding just the perfect amount of pressure, and just the right amount of stretch. Not only has my body felt amazing afterwards, and my aches and pains relieved, but I always come away feeling more creatively open and inspired. As a massage therapist myself, I am very picky about the bodywork I receive and I give Alok my highest recommendation!

Alok is the best! His massage is really great for sports injuries as well as general relaxation. He puts so much love and care into his work. I highly recommend getting thai massage from him. Sooooo good. Deeply relaxing and restorative. I’ve been recommending him to all my friends… especially my guy friends with lots of tension. ;-)

I came to Alok with lower back and wrist issues. As soon as I met him, I felt comfortable right away. He is truly living like a healer. A very calm, down to earth person. I didn’t know how badly I needed a massage until I felt so calm and relieved afterward.
He gave me tips on how to stretch my body and avoid soreness issues in the future. The healing ended with a unique acro yoga massage that completely opened me up. It relieved so much pressure in a calm way.
Alok really knows what he’s doing and treats your unique issues personally. He is focused on your experience. I left his place with a feeling of contentment and my back had no longer hurt. Try it out, you will love it!

Alok practices with total balance.
While he is a tender, warm and open soul, he has great strength and power in massage. He listened to what I asked for, but he also listen to what my body needed. He used the perfect amount of pressure, exactly what I needed.
I walked away from my session with Alok feeling in my body, connected to the earth, and powerful. Additionally I felt refreshed and relaxed. A true act of a balanced healer.
I highly recommend Alok, and his brilliant work!

Alok is truly a gifted healer. He is both perceptive and caring in his touch and has worked with me over several months to alleviate shoulder and back tension. He is strong, patient and flexible in his approach allowing time for my body and psyche to unwind naturally without forcing. His command of Thai massage is truly impressive and I am always pleasantly surprised by the new combinations and techniques that he includes into his sessions. I would recommend Alok to anyone looking for deep and sensitive healing work.

The reason I love Rockwater Healing Arts is because it’s so individualized. From Thai Massage to yoga, meditation and acroyoga, Alok pays attention to my needs and crafts a truly personal practice while staying aware of physical limits. He is attentive, perceptive and extremely welcoming to all levels and ages. The space is beautiful– bright and relaxing for a balance between intensely healing deep tissue work and relaxing in savasana. I didn’t know that existed, but apparently it does!
Highly recommend.
