I’ve been seeing the magical Riyana for several years now for massage and as an herbalist. There are a couple reasons I continue to see her as a practitioner: Firstly she has a wonderful bedside manner so to speak. She’s a great listener with great energy. Second this woman knows her business, as a massage therapist myself and an alternative medicine junky I know. And lastly albeit most importantly she always cures whats ailing me. Her herbal tinctures are straight up manna medicine of the gods. I save a lot of money seeing her over my M.D.

Riyana has helped me on a number of occasions with herbal recommendations and she has always been right on! Aside from her deep knowledge and passion for her work, she is a pleasure to be around. always helpful, insightful, and kind.

Riyana is magic! I’d been suffering from recurring back pain and headaches for several months, probably due to the stress of finals, so on a recommendation from a friend I went to see this lovely lady for a massage. The massage was wonderful… it made me feel profoundly relaxed, in a way that the deep-tissue workout I usually go for does not. Something about the fluid motion of the«Lomi Lomi» massage just coaxes your body into letting go of tension. like the movement of her hands gave my back muscles permission to let go, if that makes any sense? Ahhhhh. I think it was also the aromatherapy oils– she asked me to smell a few different oils that were good for relaxation, and asked me to choose which one made me feel calmest. I think it was some kind of lavender mix– it smelled amazing, and it really did add to the experience, like the soothing was coming in from both my tactile sense and my olfactory sense. And audial! She has a lovely calm voice. And visual too, her massage office is beautiful! I guess the only thing missing is a piece of chocolate to nibble on! Haha, not during a massage though, nevermind. I fell asleep during the last half of the massage, but during the first part we talked about things i could bring in to my life that would help me deal with stress. She gave me some tips on things to eat for breakfast to help me start my day off feeling calm and clear(hint: not pancakes with a gallon of maple syrup during finals week). She seems very knowledgable and just. smart! So I’ve made an appointment for one of her«herbal wellness consultations». I’ll let y’all know how it went :)
