Tomoco, the owner, her husband, and her beautiful chihuahua are great, and thier clothes rock. Everything is original and handmade. The store itself is a gem, and reasonably priced. This is my favorite store. I bought all my Christmas gifts here, and made my friends thrilled. Check out Momoca’s hats, and her husband’s hoods. MIA wears them! Also her husband is a musician and I here he is awesome. She also happens to be a doll and very sweet.

When I lived in Berkeley I loved stopping in here to see what was new. Although I didn’t often buy clothes here, I often wanted to. I did happen to hit up a «sample sale» once and walked out with an awesome, sexy floral lace tank top that was only $ 15. I loved that shirt!

I am a naturally adorable person. Momoca is equally adorable, and together we are down right nauseating. This is now, officially, undeniably, my favorite store. I personally cannot afford to shop here often, but if I were capable of making a dress nearly as cute as the ones Tomoko makes, I would charge you much more than $ 100 for the privilege of wearing one.

CLOSED. For updates go here: One of the cutest boutiques I’ve been in. Stepping in reminds me of what those asian owned faux«L.A. Melrose kitch» boutiques attempt to achieve(but fail, because they all get it from the same vendors)… Lots and lots of unique items. I noticed that Tomoko’s designs are evolving into wearable without veering from her personal style. They were a little out there for me 4 years ago… or maybe I’ve evolved? ha. Her accessories are delightful. Cute cute bags and hats and stuff for your doggy. She’s got some stuff to offer for the men… Though I don’t see my Vans-Nike loving boyfriend wearing her wares… A little on the pricey side, because the girl works hard for the money! It’s hard to pay the rent, feed the dog, look fabulous, AND sew the style people! It’s not ON telegraph but off a corner on telegraph. Find the 510 Skateboard shop, and it’s across it. Just in case, you may want to call ahead and make sure the store’s open(CLOSEDONMONDAYSBTW!) because I’ve found my self disappointed to discover it closed.

This place is fabulous. Most everything is one of a kind, and you can actually see the owner sewing the clothes in the shop. Yes, it is pricy, but if I’m looking for something interesting, this is my first stop. I’d rather buy one fantastic, unique item here than three from Urban Outfitters or some other chain.

Momoca is fantastic for one of a kind finds. The store owner is Japanese and really has a talent for boutique designs. My favorite items are the collaborations done with artist Kukula. I always find something adorable when I visit this shop. I love it!
