Several years ago we had Mike reupholster 8 Bill Stephens dining room chairs and 2 lounge chairs, all purchased originally from Knoll in the 1970’s. His fabrics are wonderful with many color choices. His craftsmanship is amazing and all my pieces look like new even today several years later.

Mike was referred to me by the San Francisco Knoll Showroom. I was looking for someone to reupholster a Saarinen executive armchair (
) that I got on Craigslist. A normal upholsterer can’t do some of the Knoll chairs because of the moulded plastic backs and arms (I found this out by talking to Chiosso Bros. upholstery, who suggested I call Knoll).
So anyway, I haven’t had any work done yet, but thought I’d put this in Unilocal for an additional upholstery resource.
