When Jordan couldn’t come, he scheduled a (great) replacement therapist to appear instead, and split the cost with me!
****The longer story:
I booked Jordan a few weeks in advance for a massage in my hotel room on the second evening of the bar exam.
I picked my massage therapist carefully because I did not want to be disappointed during this already stressful time! Jordan’s reviews were consistently very positive, and based on his educational background, I thought he would understand what it feels like to be in the middle of high stakes testing.
On Monday before the exam, Jordan texted me to confirm, along with some motivating good words/​vibes. Awww.
On Wednesday, the day the massage was scheduled, Jordan let me know he was fighting a cold. Uh-​Oh.
I appreciated Jordan’s candor and his heartfelt apologies, because it is so nice to feel that somebody understands and cares.
But, even more, I appreciated that gave me a ton of options for what might make me very happy. Jordan said he could come instead the next day, or give a free massage to a friend, or come anyway but with the warning that he might be a little sick. Or, he could try to find me a replacement.
While I finished testing for the day, Jordan was scheduling me a very good replacement therapist to appear that evening. Jordan kept me up to date with exactly who was coming, and when. Jordan texted me again right before the massage was to begin, and he even paid half of the cost for me!
Next time I’m in Oakland and feel an ache or pain, or need to relax, I will call Jordan. I’m sure that he does great body work, but even more than that I trust that he will make the experience perfect, even if obstacles arise.

I have had healing honour of Jordan working on my body. I have Cervical Disintegration and he has given me a reason to really smile again. I was having extreme discomfort, tigtness and uanble to turn my neck to the left (flare-​ups). I called Jordan, who makes it even less stressful by coming to your house and got a wonderful massage. Afterwards, he said it would be in my health interests to have another massage the following week because of my condition, which I felt in my heart I needed. I got the massage and have felt much better since and Iam grateful to Jordan. We always converse on my condtion prior to the massage and he is really pragmatic in his approach, touch and technique. I truly suggest to you to try a massage or few with Jordan, a grounded, compassionate and healing artist.

I have had several massages with Jordan now and intend to keep them coming!
I have a very intimidating 100 lb German Shepard who is extremely protective of me and barks like she is going to eat you. Jordan’s first visit she pretty much charged him at the door and totally barked her head off! I felt a bit like a fool. What was I thinking? How could I possibly have an in-​house massage with my dog the way she is? Granted, it’s not her fault… but she is a bit much. What a ridiculously bad idea!
She usually doesn’t let up with new people, and this was no exception. But, Jordan handled the situation so well! He was not taken aback at all, which deserves major kudos. My dog is a beast! In fact, he was so good with her that on his second visit she hardly barked when he arrived (It usually takes her several visits to get used to a new person…) and she was licking his face by the time he left!
I must say, I highly recommend Jordan to those of you out there who have held off on in-​house massages because of an unruly animal. He seems to have a way with them. And, not only is he great with animals, he does great body-​work, as well! He is very conscientious and checks in with you throughout the massage and at the end to find out what does and doesn’t work for you. Then, he crafts a specialized approach, just for you, based on your feedback and what you really need.
When he leaves, I am happy and my dog is sad to see him go.

Best massage of my life! You have not experienced a great massage until you have had one from Jordan. He gives wonderful full-​body massages, and he alleviated the pain in my wrist.

This guy is awesome. Some people are apprehensive with choosing a male massage practitioner, but Jordan is the opposite of everything they’re fearing. I have had several massages with him, and each time he demonstrates in-​depth skill (he has trained in clinical deep tissue massage), compassion, and patience. He has the strength to work out tough spots, the gentleness to give a relaxing Swedish, and the skills to combine the two.

My massage was great! Jordan arrived at my home early to set up and make sure everything was in order. He also brought along a variety songs to choose from and played the music during my session. He also let me choose what type of massage oil he used, all of which were naturally based.
I asked Jordan to focus on my shoulders and in addition to loosening up my entire body, he did a great job releasing the shoulder tension that comes from working a 9 – 5 desk job. I actually fell asleep during the massage, which is always a good sign! Better yet, my dog and cat were insistent on making noise and trying to be a part of the session-​Jordan handled the situation like a pro! All in all, I loved the experience and would do it again in a heartbeat-​why leave home when you can have the pros come to you!
