The owner of this long-​time, family-​owned business, Leon Mayeri, is what one calls a mensch — honest, decent, and stands by his word. He referred me to a restorer he had used many times before, who was going through some life stuff and really let me (and Leon) down. Instead of shrugging, Leon gave up hours of his time and drove to Sacramento twice to make things right. I would trust him absolutely.
