Catherine Jiam-Seagren, M.D.

I recently moved to Berkeley and was in urgent need of finding a Doctor for a serious health issue. After spending half a day looking and finding out that the earliest appointment would be months away, I found the Sutter Health forum and Dr Seagren. Firstly, I have to say that the receptionist were extremely knowledgeable and courteous, nothing like many of the others I had already been dealing with earlier. It was my luck that Dr. Seagren was taking new patients, and, I could get an appointment without much delay.
In that first consultation I was very impressed by Catherine’s energetic enthusiasm and thoroughness for details. She listened carefully to my history, made very insightful decisions as to what tests and procedures would get to the bottom of my condition. Dr Seagren gave me a feeling of confidence in her medical knowledge.
I’m 64 years old, and a bit slow, but I never got the impression that time was running out or that Catherine was ready to move on to her next patient. I will see how things pan out, but for now I am very confident that through Catherine I will get to the bottom of my problems, and soon be on the way to better health.
