Carrie is a good friend of mine. When I got engaged a couple of years ago, I’d not been in close touch with her for a while — and I really didn’t know too much about her photography. But I love her as a person, so my fiancé and I just decided to go with her for our wedding photos! For our engagement shoot, she did some experimental work including some indoor time-release shots, and some other fantastic outdoor shots with minimal daylight and shutter/lens work… The wedding shots she took were unique as well — her action photography genius really came out in some of the gorgeous images she captured of my husband and I dancing… she made us look like old movie starlets, and a couple of the shots seemed to catch us in mid-air with our feet hovering inches from the floor… very dreamy… We were really excited by what she produced. I fall in love with my husband all over again every time I look these shots over…

Our resort has employed Carrie Reiter for multiple photo shoots over the last few seasons and we have been thrilled with the results. Carrie shoots indoor and outdoor equally well and is really good at capturing moments, emotion, and person-to-person interaction. She has shot children and families as well as action shots in the terrain parks and backcountry and all the photos have ended up on our website or in our press materials. Carrie is also extremely professional and easy to work with, is highly organized, and is great at post-production work. I would recommend her in a second to anyone looking to capture life at its best!

Carrie set up a photo booth for my birthday party and the images came out GREAT! She was really fast with the editing(I didn’t realize before how much work is involved with editing…), got a bunch of neat shots of my friends and I found her to be a friendly, patient, creative, and professional person to work with. Highly recommended!

My company, Mountain Mama, Inc, hired Carrie for a commercial shoot recently. This was a difficult assignment that required that she: 1. Find a model who was pregnant, pretty, and a skier, 2. Style the clothes, 3. Shoot in freezing temps in Tahoe between storms. The results were stunning. I’d hire Carrie again in a heartbeat!
