Can’t even refill waffle mixing. Never refills soy milk. Hasn’t even paid my friend for three months of work.

Personally my favorite cafeteria at Cal. Unlike Crossroads, which is more generic and bland-looking, Café 3 has a much more hip, vibrant atmosphere, especially with their couches and giant windows with generous lighting. The food is always fantastic here, but they open at 10AM for brunch, which is a disappointment for those who want to grab breakfast earlier. In that case, breakfast would be at Crossroads. What I also like about here is that the salad buffet is already available once they open at 10AM. One time last semester, I found a baby caterpillar in my salad. I brought it to the lady at the salad bar, who told me she could bring out the manager to talk to me. The manager came out, and when I showed him the baby caterpillar, he told the lady at the salad bar to rewash the salad, and went to the cashier lady to give me a cash refund. Now that was efficient and awesome!

Café 3 is the epitome of sophisticated contemporary cuisine. The decorated lighting and the carefully placed pictures contribute to a delightful yet relaxing ambiance. Furthermore, the professionalism and straightforward friendliness of the staff also add to this worldly experience. Each dish is masterfully crafted and equally delicious. The expansive amount of aromatic and beautifully scented food are the best in the region. Finally, the spacious and luscious dining halls overlook a romantic sidewalk that tingles the senses. A true fine dining experience, and a must try cafeteria here at Berkeley.

For freshman living in Unit 3, it’s really a good choice to eat here, coz the food are healthy, various and tasty. You can always enjoy pizzas, vegetable salads and bagels and different drinks. Besides, there are some exotic food such as Mexican tacos, kimchi wraps and Chinese noodles. Come here to eat if you are a Golden Bear!

I come here for brunch on weekdays. Individualized omelette bar. You can also order eggs the way you want like egg white only omelette or sunny side up. The wait is around 5 minutes when I go around 11am. Check the menu before you come! The food is not restaurant quality but it’s still possible to have a balanced healthy meal here. Atmosphere: modern ikea looking décor. Lots of seating for large groups to single eaters.

Starting to get a little busy! Mac and cheese is delicious! Came here after not eating here for years! Came at 11:30 for lunch and they were serving pizza, pasta, burritos, bacon, mac and cheese, curry, sandwiches, etc. The mac and cheese was quite yummy. I’m not sure if it’s because the food was free(freshman swiped me in) or if they actually had good Mac and cheese! I enjoyed it. Love the vibe of Café Three. Extremeley convienent to students with meal points and the food is much better than Crossroads! Wouldn’t come back unless I had a friend swipe me it though

Oh Café 3, one of the better places to dine on if you’re stuck with paying with your meal points and too broke to actually afford good food. Café 3 is in many ways a lot better than cross roads. They décor looks more modern and its a lot more trendy than crossroads. They also seem to serve the best items here. Unfortunately, though, the place is closed during breakfast so do not come during that time. When they do open however, food is very distinct. The reason why i drop 2 stars is because of the fact that if they have special items like char siu, they give you a limit of 1 piece, no matter how much you beg/ask/bend on your knees. Even though they skimp on portions, this place seems to deliver all the time.
Food choice can often be a hit or miss but it’s a quieter place to eat compared to crossroads after a long day
