I have highest praise for the overall care that the Berkeley Opthamology Medical Grouop provides its patients Drs. Richard and Joshua Litwin, each possesses outstanding expertise in opthomalogy, and its practice. Their patients benefit from state of the art diagnostic technology which they use to assess any condition which may impede vision and overall good health of eyes. Should a patient require corrective lens, or a change in his or her current prescription, the patient will find the services of the Group’s optometrist.Dr. Michaelson, most useful.. And so are the services of Mr. Sabatini who can handle the making of the glasses. Altogether, the Berkeley Opthamological Medical Group provides the patient a full range of essential opthomological services that assure patients they are getting optimal care from all those in this practice, including the assistants and staff as well. I would recommend the Group to friends and family knowing they would get excellent care, as I myself have.

Dr Litwin took my mom for an emergency visit in August and was very kind to her.
She found him on the internet and walked over without an appointment!
The antibiotic eye drops helped her eye heal and she was good as new in a few days.
Highly recommend this place.

I am new to the area, and had seen Dr. Josh Litwin just once for glaucoma. A few days later I somehow jammed a finger in my eye and experienced intense pain. Dr. Litwin saw me immediately on an emergency basis, put a protective lens over the corneal abrasion, and gave me clear instructions on antibiotic eye drops. I left feeling as grateful as I have ever been to any doctor. At a follow-​up three days later, he confirmed that the abrasion had healed.
Dr. Litwin is knowledgeable, thorough, good humored, patient, and has every variety of advanced equipment. The technicians and office staff I dealt with at his office have been courteous and professional. I can’t imagine a better experience at any ophthalmologist’s office.
