This is a fabulous store with helpful staff and an amazing selection of growing and blooming products. Very professional and they even gave us a free sample of some kelp to add as a nutrient to our plants. They know a lot here so pick their brains and buy local!

Knowledgeable staff, reasonable prices. I thought «Indoor Garden» was probably code for «grow your own hydro» and was pleasantly surprised when I dragged a problem ficus in and was not laughed off the premises. Helpful folks and a cool selection of carnivorous plants too!

Great little grow shop. I went here to buy soil amendments, and the cashier was great, he actually helped me pick one bag of «Rainbow» something instead of buying several different boxes of different amendments I’d read about on the internet.
Prices seemed reasonably consistent with other places. I would go here again.

LOVE LOVE LOVE it here. Corey is the main reason I give BIG most of my business. I feel like I am taken care of, and my needs are always more than met. Some things are a little pricey, but overall the value you receive here is better than most in the area. Love you guys and can’t wait to come in again!

Always drived passed this place and never thought i would stop by. Came here on a recommendation from Cactus Jungle as i was looking for earthworm castings… walked in, immediately greeted and asked if i was looking for something… the guys in here are really nice and helpful. I was in and out of this place in 5 minutes… if i had more time, i would’ve looked around for other items. I’ll definitely be back!

Stopped in here thinking I could go elsewhere nearby if they didn’t have what I needed at good prices and was pleasantly surprised. Was one stop shopping for everything. The one secret of gardening these days is that often hydro stores have better prices for dirt than your average garden supply, have learned to try them first.

I walked in today to this shop that specializes in marijuana fertilizer and cannabis care and when i simply said «i have a question about cannabis fertilizer» when i was asked «what do you want can i help you huh» from this old Asian dude with an ugly and arrogant attitude i was told i must leave immediately, the ridiculous thing is that there are dozens of references to marijuana all over the place on addition to a very ganjy theme the location requires you get buzzed in and has morbidly obese grunting security guards all for orchid fertilizers? Yeah fuckin right. If that want enough the place is falling apart with chipping paint and crumbling woodchips from the exposed wall, the wheel chair ramps resemble California street and when i went to ask the management if the man in an undershirt with an angry spirit and arrogant personality worked there she said yes and i told her what he said and she giddily told me i had to get out immediately all while a sea of hoodrats was buying bulk fertilizer and openly talking about growing weed which is perfectly legal to do I’m California especially Berkeley, weekday a waste of timei Hope this herpes sore of an establishment gets shuttered soon for being the dump it is… Where’s the class?

THIS PLACE IS AWESOME! I have been to two other competitors many a times and have never recieved such incredible customer service and prices as at this place. I live in Oakland and just today decided this WILL be my only place to shop for all my gardening needs. I don’t care if I have to get in the car and drive. I understand that gardening shops are kind of a laid back place and don’t necessarily need to work as strict as a regular retail store, but I have limited time and am tired of dealing with incompetent people. That is why I am only ever going to Indoor Garden. They open on time all the time. They give discounts for shopping there. They are over the top friendly. They allow my dog to come in with me and even give her love. They have knowledgeable men and women who know what you need and how to help you and don’t make you wait awkward amounts of time before you are served. Genious employees and owners. Thank you for being you Indoor Garden. Seriously people, this is your shop!

Gooooooooo Organics!!! I love this place for having all the organic supplies. :) Everything is reasonably priced and always in stock. The employees are super friendly and always attentive to the customers. I could not ask for a better experience every time I go there.

What a peculiar little place inn the middle of… nowhere. They have a nice small collection of carnivorous plants on the inside and have quite a selection for your growing needs (indoor of course). A lot of «alternative» growing things in here fi you know what I mean. They have fertilizers here, grow lights, mini greenhouses etc. Parking is on the street and off to the side

I love these guys! always joking around and making everyone feel at ease! Every time i have a gardening question or problem they are my first stop. If you love supporting hometown local business with a conscious attitude toward gardening and organics these are your people!

Update: This place is awesome!
I had a problem with one of my peppers and just by talking to them we figured out three possible problems that didnt involve buying anything.
(hint– Berkeley water is a ph 8.0 on average so add a bit of vinegar to lower the ph, peppers like that.).
I stopped in here while designing my grow room.
The friendly staff helped me immediately (it was oddly busy for a Tuesday mid-​afternoon) and I got my products for less than what I found online, plus I’m supporting a local business.
I already made out a list for my next trip!
As bonus they play great music.

This is another one of those indoor cannabis supply stores, only it is in Berkeley. Avoid the Organics Alive products. I got a few bags of the dirt and the dirt had weeds growing out of it. At that price and still having weeds is a joke. And it just didn’t happen to be in one bag.
