Berkeley Five Element Acupuncture

Update: After reading Paul’s response to my comments, I’m lowering my rating. To respond to his remarks, I in fact *did* leave a positive review of the acupuncture profile I recommend in SF, although it may not show up in the top results. More to the point, all of Tree of Qi’s 40 reviews are 5-​stars, so clearly, it doesn’t need the help of false advertising! I do not have friends/​references on Unilocal because I choose to remain anonymous here, since retaliation for negative reviews is always a possibility. Paul’s memory does not serve him correctly if if he does not remember me as a client, I not only voiced my concerns to him, I also followed up with a phone call before leaving a Unilocal review. I highly recommend finding another acupuncturist, I wish I had saved my money by going elsewhere.

As far as I am concerned, Paul is a miracle-​worker with pins! A few times have gone to him with nagging unusual pains — issues that would have taken Western Medicine months before they came up with some non-​solution — and in just one or two treatments, he has completely resolved each issue. The electrical stimulation of the acupuncture channels is particularly effective. Paul is also a sage at giving general life-​advice based on the energetic patterns he is reading: a few times, his words of simple advice have launch major positive shifts in how I live my life and interact with my world. I cannot recommend Paul highly enough!

I’ve always been a skeptic of acupuncture until I received treatment from Paul.
Since age 13, I have always suffered with painful menstruation enough to knock me down for a few days each month. I’ve tried everything from all sorts of birth control, to diet to excercise, teas… you name it.
I met Paul through a mutual friend and found out that he did acupuncture and thought I would give it a try.
After a thorough analysis, Paul designed a treatment for me which included herbs. Though the herbs tasted absolutely horrible, I noticed a huge improvement after my first session and with the herbs. I could actually function! And I only had to take 2 aleve. I still had some pain, but it wasn’t nearly as bad as usual!
After my second session, it was even better than the last. Finally, I feel like I’ve found something that works!
Paul is really awesome. He’s super chill, and while very professional, really makes you feel comfortable. The space is also very warm and cozy and I feel completely relaxed from start to finish.

I started seeing Paul after a significant leg injury and circulation problem, and not only has my leg recovered faster than expected, but I’m sleeping better and have more energy as well. He takes the time to fully understand you and everything going on with you, not just treat the thing you think is bothering you most when you walk in the door. I highly recommend him.

Paul really has a gentle touch. I had significant pain in my knee after the AIDS LifeCycle and he really took the care and attention to work it out. And now I’m back cycling! Thanks Paul!
