Great service today from the Ben and Jerry’s guy! I tried the Peach Melba Greek Yogurt ice cream and the Chocolate Chip cookie dough ice cream and was torn between the two. He offered to do half a scoop of each and I ended up with a delicious creation!

This review is based on one person alone. I believe his name is Christian and he was the only person working on 10⁄22 after the Florence and the Machine concert at the Greek Theatre. This kid got SLAMMED and handled it with grace and speed. This guy deserves to be recognized And applauded for cranking out all of those scoops to the line of people that went out the door (and kept building) he rocked it out. He was polite and kind to EVERY Single guest that walked through the door. Great job!
The ice cream was great and the service beyond stellar! I had the New Belgium collaboration ice cream and it was delicious.

I have never been to Ben and Jerrys before and I think I won’t come back again. I had two «yummy scoops», one lemonade and the other one margarita. The margarita was not enjoyable, the lemonade was ok but nothing special. The cone was also really disappointing.
You can find much better places to have an ice cream s in Berkeley like Almare Gelato Italiano which are muuch better!

We chose Ben & Jerry’s as our Birthday ice cream cake experience for our Yeti Moose Lamb. I was hoping for more than I should have.
The ice cream is fantastic. That’s a given. But if you’re looking for a pretty or well done ice cream cake, look elsewhere. The level of decoration at best was childish. I appreciate that the cake itself was very good. It’s just that when you’re hoping to make a presentation, and the item is sub-​par, it’s a bit deflating.
Ben & Jerry’s will probably always be a good bet for a cone or sundae. Sign up for their «Chunk Mail» and get a coupon for a free cone.

If you have a huge sweet tooth come here! Ben n’ Jerry’s has a huge selection of very richly sweet ice cream and shakes! I like coming here and bringing my casual work to enjoy my ice cream with. The setting is nice and well lit. Music is always entertaining.
The worker Brandon is one of the nicest individuals ever! He always has a smile and loves talking to customers. Extra tip to him!

This place rocks. I love their ice cream. Especially their chocolate ice cream. This location is in a nice area. I love the location. I got and ice cream sundae here and loved it. I would come back here if I were in the area. This is the first Ben & Jerry’s location I have been to.

I was so disappointed with the Ben and Jerry’s here!
I expected it to be happy ice cream dreams, especially with all the quirky names and flavors. As clean as this location was, the ice cream kinda tasted… Old? They were also running out on a lot of the flavors.
I tried the hazed and confused, as well as my favorite strawberry cheesecake. Man I was disappoint! The hazed and confused was a liiiil too chocolately for me and the crust accompanying the SC was soggy and unsatisfying.
I think I will stick to the tubbed variety! ^^

Everyone knows that Ben and Jerry’s has the best ice cream, so I’m not going to really say more about that. My wife and I came in to order an ice cream cake for her birthday. We took our time looking at the cakes and trying to decide between all the great flavors. We decided to taste test some and then get a scoop. The guy that helped us tonight in the tweedle dee hat was really fun and friendly. It seems that there are a lot of people out there who just want to get through their shift and don’t really care. This guy was not one of those people. He cared about his customers, he listened to what we said and he made recommendations accordingly. We didn’t end up getting a cake tonight, but we have a better idea of what we want and we will definitely be back for more. Thank you for putting the «ice cream» on the cake so to speak.

Good place to grab an awesome cone of B&J’s deliciousness, but in my experience, this has been a go-​to spot to buy ice cream cakes for friends’ birthdays. The service is quick and reliable, and they’ve never screwed up an order for us. It’s also a good idea to get a packed pint there too! All in all, sample to your heart’s desire, and enjoy the delicious cones and cups!

It’s cheaper to buy a pint of Ben and Jerry’s from the store than to buy a scoop from here.
Although that says nothing about this place’s service or taste so: it’s delicious, definitely. There are cone options and all that jazz. You can take a photo with their photo board outside. It’s in a nice and dainty food area of Downtown Berkeley.
But… there’s a reason this place isn’t crowded.

The staff here is fantastic, every time I’ve been here they have the most helpful friendly people. The asian guy that works here (forgot his name) is super cool and gives great recommendations.
Oh and it’s super clean, I think they have the cleanest restroom in Berkeley.
It may be on the pricier side but so worth it, the shakes are delicious (try the mint cookie)

Pints of Ben and Jerry’s ice cream was always my go-​to treat during stressful college exams or thesis papers. I could always count on the delicious pint of cold sugar to properly excite my taste buds and numb my senses. Granted, I always wish I hadn’t downed the whole pint in one sitting… but it was always irresistible.
I’m a fan of the shop. It’s good ice cream. They didn’t have karmel sutra so I got Carmel chunk instead. It was yummy. The cookies and cream was average which isn’t bad since in my opinion, average cookies and cream is still good cookies and cream.
The place was clean and the staff was friendly.

No. I refuse to pay almost $ 5 for a single scoop of ice cream when I can get it for $ 1 at John’s or a $ 2 ice cream sandwich at CREAM. I’ve also had their coffee and their pastries… definitely not worth it.
This place doesn’t get a lot of business because of these high prices and frankly, if you want Ben & Jerry’s you should just stop by Walgreens or CVS and buy a pint from their freezer section.
I’ll just keep it short and say that if you want a variety of unique decadent flavors and price is not an issue then by all means stop by Ben & Jerry’s. HOWEVER, if you are a poor college student who is aware that they could buy 2 slices of Sliver pizza for the price of one scoop of ice cream, then you might want to walk a few steps to John’s ice cream. Also, don’t bother trying their pastries (which appear to have been in the display cases for the longest time) or their espresso drinks because that’s like buying salad at a BBQ restaurant.

Pfffffrrrrrrrrtttt… there you have it folks. I’m lactose intolerant. So are 40 million Americans. Average amount of time it takes for side effects of lactose intolerance to occur after intake is 30 minutes. Bloating, flatulence and daya-​ree-​ree. Sounds about right? Good thing this Ben & Jerry has a nice and clean restroom.
Customer service is superb. You get to vote on the employee of the month. This month’s star employee is Marty, give the guy a raise! They have the standard B&J flavours. I really like this location for their indoor and outdoor seating.
I’ll take the bloating and the poopie-​farts in exchange for a scoop of chocolate therapy. It’s so worth it. By the way, whatever happened to the ‘White Russian?’

I LOVE Ben & Jerry’s. I adore all their ice cream flavors and it is pretty much my life goal to try every single flavor. I really liked this location because it was SO close to campus and it totally helped that my friend worked here which meant endless samples and discount ice cream anytime she was working. It was the best :)
I no longer go to Ben & Jerry’s but pick up a pint or two when I’m at the grocery store. Delicious! 4⁄5

They recently moved (I think) but I LOVE their ice cream cakes. Bought a mint chocolate cake for a friend’s birthday, super yummy and SO bennjerrys :)
They also cut the cake & sell you candles. You just need to ask!
