I’ve never really felt like I left a salon with my idea of a perfect hair styling, but Nas did a beautiful ombré for me and Samantha did an awesome job cutting my hair. I’m Asian so I normally find it hard to find a hair salon that knows how to handle my hair but the ladies did a great job. It’s the first time I’ve had short hair in 20 years and I love it!

Nice salon! The women there are very kind and honest. I came here for my first keratin treatment. They answered all the questions (there were a lot) and I felt like they were as careful with my hair as it was their own. Maybe I feel this way because the last salon (body and soul) was so terrible. I would definitely go again. Their prices for keratin were cheaper than other places I found when researching. It was $ 250 for my long hair

I have been going to Libase Salon for several years now, and I ALWAYS leave happy! I had gone through a string of salons before finding Naz at Libase. Other places would start out great but get in a rut. Every time I tell Naz I want a change, she makes it happen.
I’ve had color, highlights, keratin, and lots of different styles and I’ve been happy with each one. I am SO glad I found Libase. Was just there today and already have my next appointment booked.

I usually get my hair styled in the City, but business took me to this neck of the woods and so I peeked in here. It looked nice and clean – I wanted a cut and color. I’ve even saved my coloring formula from my regular stylist. It all looks like gibberish to me, but the lady I showed it to took one look and said it was all wrong. Now I’ve been with my regular stylist for years and trust her. But the lady here said that she knew she should go in a different direction. Well, I didn’t need my hair cut that badly – the inflexibility and attitude were both big turn-​offs. I simply walked out, Maybe they do good work here but the insistent attitude made me wholly unwilling to take the chance.

Where to begin… Pro: very clean, in a crumbling strip mall. It is so sterile, from the generic music to décor. If you understand high end and luxury this will never do. I had a hard time getting comfortable felt like someone was hovering over me. It was dead nobody except one girl, so my eyes wandered over every nook and crannies and I felt uncomfortable because there were several video cameras, Never been any salon where there were so many to watch me with goop in my hair. I asked the girl if she could take my coffee because the bagel shop in strip mall used souring milk she said OK but never did. I waited along time before stylist appeared, she called my hair boring and dull, said highlights. When I said something she did not like she rolled her eyes several times said she had over 20 years in the business and let her worry about hair. Again very uncomfortable place, the same music loops over and over. I wanted to get a manicure but there is only one station and by the time” Naz” was finished it was busy again. When I did not like the color she said it’s not finished yet, so I was nice let her style it out. She said «make it like something I couldn’t do myselfs».I did not look up until done she made it into a big poofy thing. I told her to smooth it down a bit she argues its the style. More eye rolls. I paid left a paltry tip, and seemed to have left but I went to bathroom, heard Naz say,“That lady gave me an awful head ache.” And proceeded to say other things catty things about her next client, she gives a break in price because most people can’t really afford her services, her form of charity and they will give their last penny left to her. She makes her prices at how they dress, which is why some pe;ple get two prices. Cheaper on the phone… gouge in person. She went on to the student you have to pretend you like them. But most of the time it’s hard.(***use less shampoo she berated,) not even a full pump. Itchy scalp explained. When I left she said nothing and rolled eyes one more time for the road. I don’t have to guess what she said next.
Maybe this place has a ton of potential, hire nice people, play new music, get nicer furniture… Also get rid of the cameras it gave me the creeps. I think it could be an exquisite salon, but right now it is a place I’d never go back
was suppose to be upscale… um no its just clean, so if I’m visiting NJ I’ll say no… again its a big NO.***PS these ppl will send email a questionnaire for service. I would hesitate freely giving in

Not a very friendly place, the hairstylist swears that she knows what she’s doing with great confidence, but like everyone else said here always ends up doing what «she» wants to do… and if you question it, boom get some attitude. And last but not least, you really get robbed here when it comes to prices. If you have some self respect, I’d say stay away from this place.

Naz is just the best! She has done my mothers blonde and keratin and my blonde/​pink ombré for years! I’ve had pink hair for over two years now and tried two very popular NYC salon and Naz does a superior job, You can’t beat her service and quality. She has done our color for our weddings as well.

I love Libase Salon. I have had several services. Christy has done wonderful pedicures. In fact, she did a gel pedicure and my polish lasted for a month! Naz has been my colorist for quite awhile now. We have done some interesting things together. She has been doing highlights lately and they look fabulous. I have recommended this salon to all my friends and I suggest you give it a try if you haven’t already.

I have been here a few times for haircut, color and eyelash extensions. Naz means well but says she knows how to do things and then the outcome is horrible. She did my roots and the color doesn’t match. Then sends me off with some excuse. Eyelash extensions were terrible. I looked like I had spiders on my eyes they were so long. Awful. Oh and don’t take a child there. She will be very annoyed and makes it known. I won’t go there again, terrible.

Great atmosphere… very serene and I always find myself relaxing the moment I step in the door. The entire staff could not be any nicer or more welcoming. All of the talent and ambiance of a great upscale salon without any of the pretentiousness (and very reasonable prices). Each time I go I receive a ridiculous amount of compliments in the weeks after.

I received a Gift Certificate so that created my first visit to the salon. I got a facial which was extremely thorough and relaxing. Naz was outstanding… best facial I ever had! Going back soon!

This is one of the nicest salons, it is a very relaxing and inviting atmosphere. Sheriene is an amazing stylist-​so talented. I had color, highlights and a cut which looks amazing! I left the salon feeling so good, my hair has never looked better. Really super experience.

I was fortunate to be given 2 gift certificates to Libase Salon and Spa, but was unable to use them for 18 months. The owner was extremely gracious and allowed me to make my appointment with the suggestion of a facial to start.
I spent yesterday morning in the most appealing and comfortable environment. Karen, my esthetician, with her gentle hand movements made me feel as if was on a cloud nine. My face looked and felt beautiful when I left and actually today, it still feels marvelous.
I felt the most relaxed I have ever felt even after a massage. I truly would recommend her to all my friends. I look forward to returning there again and again.

I had a great experience! The staff is very friendly attending to me as soon as I walked in the door. Clients are offered light refreshments. The atmosphere is relaxing. I got a fantastic cut by Juana. After a week it has a great shape and styles great. I left feeling great! Libase offers a full service salon and spa experience. They sell a wide selection of hair products including Bumble and Bumble (my favorite). All around wonderful experience. I booked my next appointment upon leaving.

If you go to this place, you are guaranteed that you will be robbed, for a 20 minutes hair cut, they charge you $ 65, and lied saying they did 40 minutes. Very unfriendly with the customers. The manager screamed at a customer that all hair salon charges $ 50 and above for women’s hair cut. For the service and attitude they have, I am NOT going there anymore and not recommend to any woman who has dignity.

I don’t recommend it. As a first time client, I made it clear that my stylist would need to know how to work with extensions. I was assigned a man who was very rough with my hair, need to trim his nails because it felt like he was slicing my scalp as he washed my hair. He also pulled very hard on my extensions as he blew dry them to the point that they were very loose by the end of the blow out. I was charged $ 50 for the blow out, even though on their website it says $ 30– and my hair is medium length and normal thickness. My root were still damp and to be quite honest my hair looked better before I came in. On top of that, he didn’t even speak english!!! Bad experience, wouldn’t recommend…
