This is a great place to live. It is a little pricey though. Other than that it is clean, nice apartments with a lot of room. I haven’t had a service request yet so I can’t really comment on that. One of the biggest drawbacks which honestly pisses me off and makes me want to drop the star rating from 3 to 2 is the cable agreement. Stone Ridge has an agreement with Time Warner Cable and its about $ 120/mo for cable and internet. If you do not want to use TWC, you still have to pay $ 50 hook up fees. Also it is basic cable and internet, no HD or DVR or extra channels. Just the basic package. Pretty sickening to see the ads for TWC that offer HD, DVR, internet, and Showtime for $ 90/mo. To add the HD/DVR box its like $ 25/mo. extra. Basically you would be paying near $ 150 for $ 90 worth of services– and no Showtime. Also the account manager for TWC, Chris, who is in charge of the apartment complex is terrible. So hard to get in touch with. I left multiple messages and no call back from him. I ended up having to go through his manager then finally just called the customer service number to get someone dispatched to set up my cable/internet when I first moved in. And I work out of a home office, so no internet for the first week was not acceptable. Also, pretty pricey if you have a pet. Not only is it a $ 300 deposit, but you have to pay $ 25/mo. as well– $ 300/yr. And if you want a garage, thats another $ 80/mo. Last complaint is the location. Not really much to do in the immediate area as far as restaurants, bars, etc. Also,(this does not bother me) there are planes taking off all day but usually stop in the evening. It doest really bother me or wake me up or anything, but something to know if you are looking at moving here. Other than that, very quiet place. Overall I like living here, despite my complaints.
