Great atmosphere and wonderful service! The staff genuinely care about your experience. The ribs«Flintstones» were amazing! The fried apple pie dessert finished of the meal nicely.

Risotto balls were super yummy! I got the cucumber mint infusion to start. Very light and delicious. The chicken and waffles was unique and delicious. Overall a little pricey. The service was a little slow but overall a good choice.

It was a unique menu and the flavors were good. Presentation was nice and atmosphere was cool. I don’t have any great reason for not giving it 5 stars, I just wasn’t blown away. I had a memorable experience though and enjoyed the restaurant.

When in Arkansas… you must try this place! Great atmosphere. Great beer. Even better food! I came here twice and loved the bison burger! Thick cut bacon. with egg?!? Oh god! With herb de Provence baked fries. heaven!(Also tried a chicken sandwich, amazing as well) Love that they use all local ingredients with fresh baked bread daily

My hubby and I fell in love with Tusk and Trotter. Our lunch was excellent, the atmosphere was laid back, relaxing and welcoming and our server, Scott, was fantastic! We will be back when we are in this neck of the woods again!

I have never had anything here that wasn’t absolutely delicious. Don’t be afraid to try something new, I’ve done that quite a few times and never regretted it. Bacon Brittle Ice Cream is to die for.

Cool, laid back, progressive. If your an adult with your lady, sit on the bar side. If your with your kids or prude parents, sit on the other side. I was happily on the bar side. I like to drink… and they have a incredible selection of infused drinks, and impressive Mixologists! The food was unique, with fun menu descriptors.

House cocktails were good and rather innovative, they tend to run a bit sweet, but booze is still new to the area, and a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down. Don’t let this dissuade you though, as the sweetness does work for most of the drinks. The entire drink selection was very good and had some of the more competitive prices for the area. Ambiance was nice, nothing notable either way. Service was good, knowledgeable and attentive staff, but not like, too attentive, it always kinda creeps me out when it seems like they are always there, but definitely not the case here. The perfect amount of attentiveness . I have a real hard-on for the fries here, and love that you can get them in different flavors, truffle oil of course makes me pop one, but the herbs de provence glaze gives me the true rager. In general the presentation of the food borders on the sublime, and personally, I found it more artistic then most of the«american art» in Crystal Bridges. All of this review would be worthless though if the food tasted like shit, and luckily it does not. If cooking is like making love, then these chef’s are very attentive lovers. The details of each dish were on point, classics ranging from chicken and waffles to duck confit all benefited from the gentle and sensual hand of the chefs, molding them from shy naïve local ingredients into worldly and sultry dishes, worthy of any diner of «discriminating» tastes. All in all a rather nice place and a pretty good deal for what you are getting. In terms of hard numbers, for a dinner of two with two cocktails each, you can get out of there w/tip(20%) for a bit under a c-note. P. S. Bathrooms are nice, single stall and rather private, definitely a bathroom you could easily have sex in, if that’s your thing.

Tusk and Trotter lived up to my little lofty expectations. From the beer, cocktails, and service to the appetizers and entrees, I was very impressed with my experience. We opted for the pork rinds and fan-favorite risotto balls to start. The pork rinds were very fresh, hot, crispy, and had plenty of flavor. For $ 4, I think they were a steal. The six risotto balls were very crunchy on the outside with a creamy, soft inside. Great texture and taste. For the entrees, my party sampled nearly everything. Pig eat salad, fried chicken and waffles; the flintstones(ribs), beans and cornbread, TnT Burger, and Steak Tartine. I thought the Beans and Cornbread was the best and most unique item we tasted. Yea, it says«beans and cornbread» but it is Duck Confit(delicious, moist, and fall off the bone with a crispy skin), Duck Pastrami, corn cassoulet and garbanzo beans. Delicious, varied, and plenty of flavor. The chicken and waffles were very tasty: carrot cake waffles, fried chicken with plenty of meat and a crispy exterior and slightly sweet taste. My only complaint here is the creamy sauce atop the waffles made them somewhat soggy after 5 – 10 minutes. The burger and ribs were fairly standard. I wasn’t the biggest fan but then again my friends are less adventurous and liked them a lot. For $ 12 and $ 18 I thought the prices were reasonable. For the dessert, we went for the Trot on over here which I was actually disappointed by. The ice cream with bacon/brittle was flavorful, but the cake was a little dry. I would recommend trying something else. Overall, great experience, fair prices for the quality offered, and a varied, unique menu. I’ll be coming back!

I like going to a place where the menu isn’t huge. Seemingly the menu items were all unique which usually means that they execute all dishes well. I ordered the risotto balls — because… everyone else on Unilocal is ordering this, so why not? It was pretty damn good — not overly thick and starchy, it had good flavor, and crunch. The chicken and waffles was what I ordered as my entrée. Of this dish, the carrot waffle with the bechamel was what intrigued me. However, it was just OK. I liked the concept, and the ingredients; however, the flavor was just not there. Definitely order the dessert that had the date cake, and maple bacon brittle ice cream. Yes, bacon in a sweet dish again… but honestly, as played out as this pairing is across restaurants — this place really did it well. I’m absolutely ordering this again.

Alright … so this place. It has a very hipster/trendy vibe about it, very fitting for it’s gastropub self. I was in Bentonville only for a couple hours, and the reviews on Unilocal are what brought me here. I was drawn in for the Chicken & Waffles, so I was a little disappointed when I got there around 2:30 so find out they were serving off their lunch menu, and the C&W was on their dinner menu. However, when I found out the C&W was $ 21, I was a little less distraught. I digress … I ended up ordering the ‘Hogzilla’ sandwich after debating between that and the Charcuterie Burger. My server’s tip that Hogzilla has won a bunch of awards helped easily sway my decision. MAN was that a GREAT choice. Wild boar patty, house made(THICK) bacon, bacon jam, Gorgonzola aioli plus the regular LTO. This sandwich was incredible. Even my wife loved if, and she is not a bacon person. I would definitely come back for this burger time and time again. My wife ordered the«Teeree» burger which was ground lamb, pickled cucumber, onion, peppers, feta * horseradish crema. This was great in that it was different from a normal burger. The lamb was juicy and a great sized patty … but after having my Hogzilla, it was hard to compare anything to it. At this point, I wasn’t even hungry. BUT, after reading so many reviews, I had to get dessert. Unilocalers raved about the maple bacon brittle ice cream, so I just couldn’t NOT do it. «Trot on Over Here» dessert is stick pudding cake served with said maple bacon ice cream … all drizzled with chocolate & caramel sauces. This was out of this world! The ice cream was not over-powered with the flavor of bacon, but perfectly accompanied by it. Apparently, it’s so good that it’s been voted ‘Best Bacon Dish in the South’ by Southern Living Magazine. OH, and the glazed fries as a size and awesome! Hand cut fries with a herby, sweet glaze drizzle over. NOM.

Been here twice. The first time we were impressed by the unique drink menu and unique food menu. Pig ear nachos… yes please! The second time we went our experience was terrible. The waiter was slow and didn’t remember half of the things we told him. He gave us the wrong drinks and then I ordered a different drink and he just didn’t bring it out. Not impressed. The one thing we loved both times were the risotto balls. I could eat them as a meal! YUM

I came here with my husband for our anniversary a couple weeks ago. I have been meaning to come here in a while, so I was excited to eat here. WAIT/PARKING: There is a parking lot across the street or street parking. It is right off of the town square, so it can be a busy area depending when you go. We went on a Friday evening around 6pm and we were able to find a spot, but they were few. They do not take reservations Friday or Saturday. We showed up a little after 6pm and put our name in. We only had to wait a maximum of 30 minutes. We just walked to the square and sat down by the fountain. If you do have to wait for a table, you can just walk to the town square or to other nearby areas. If you have kids it is right by a park, there is the walmart museum and some other shopping. We had friends who came here the weekend before us and they had a longer wait. There was live music that night and they said it was super crowded inside, especially at the bar area. CUSTOMERSERVICE: The hostess and our waiter both gave us great customer service. Our waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. FOOD: The food was awesome! This is what we ordered: Appetizer: Ozark Smoked Trout Brandade — Potatoes, garlic, smoked trout, lamb bacon, lemon, herbs, parmesan cheese and scallions on housemade flatbread. This was so delicious! Mmm mmm mmm good. Dinner: Fried Chicken & Waffles — Fried chicken breasts, seasonal veggies, carrot-cake waffle, maple-bacon bechamel sauce. **I ordered this and it was so delicious. I was told by my neighbor to order it. I had never had chicken and waffles before, so can’t compare to other places. However, this was so delicious and unique too because of the carrot-cake waffle. The sauce was yummy! Mmm I want some now haha. Where The Buffalo Roam: Bison Burger: — Ground bison patty, bacon, Swiss & cheddar cheese, sauteed mushrooms & onion, fried over easy egg, & chipotle aioli, on a locally made potato bun. **My husband enjoyed this. I also had a few bites and it was delicious. The chef tries to have all the ingredients be local, which is great. Since they use local ingredients, the menu may change. OVERALL: I am definitely going to come back.

Not sure why I haven’t reviewed before! Maybe because I’ll say what everyone else does — I love this place! I usually come in when I’m solo, or sometimes meet a girlfriend for happy hour and sit in the bar. The bar staff is always top rate — attentive, friendly, and knowledgable about the beer, food, and preparations. I’ve tried several things from the menu, but mostly apps, salads, and sandwiches. The pork chop rocks too. Tonight’s Hogzilla burger was incredible — Wild boar patty, homemade bacon, bacon jam and Gorgonzola aioli on a fresh baked potato roll. Truffled fries on the side. I’m hooked. Please don’t let the Hogzilla go away! How can you not love a place you can get a flight of local beers and fresh cooked pork rinds? I’m a big fan.

Where am I? I am confused. I thought I was in Arkansas but I am eating such wonderful things! Gastropub goodness. Several local craft brews on tap including Ozarks add to the experience. The food and service is so fantastic I came back for lunch the next day. The High South Poutine was great fun and the Mediterranean pizza incredible as well! Pleasantly surprised by this gem. Ample free parking in the lot across the street. Lots of expense account dinners going on here, vendors celebrating victory or licking their wounds after an encounter with Sam Walton’s business model. Bring it Wal-Mart money! This little big town has a lot to offer while remaining distinctly Arkansan. Approved! Do not miss this restaurant!
