I am new to Arkansas, having moved here 3 months ago. I left the world’s best hair stylist in Scottsdale Arizona (Joe at Le Studio Salon De Beaute if you’re ever there… he’s a magician!!) so whoever I find here in Arkansas has some pretty big shoes to try and fill… and I realize I will be tough on them.
With that being said ALL I wanted was a color and a blow-out…but apparently, blow-​outs are not common here as they are in AZ (??) because I left looking and feeling horrible.
The color was ok– but she did not match it correctly and it is much lighter than I’m used to. The «blow-​out» consisted of a lack-​luster blow dryer with a FLAT paddle brush (what stylist doesn’t use a ROUND brush to blow dry hair???) that left my hair frizzy and unmanageable. She then brushed it out and took the flat iron to it which made it look stick straight and board stiff. I do a better job myself… seriously I do and my hair ALWAYS looks soft, wavy and not glued to the side of my head.
I’m not sure if she’s new or what… but I won’t be going back to Forum;.
Did I mention that all of this cost… wait for it…$ 180? Yep. Stay away.
