Love this spot. My husband and I were looking for a local place to grab food on our roadtrip from LA to NOLA. Breakfast here was fantastic and the staff was friendly and fun. The cooks in the back were hilarious and awesome. Next time we are in this area, we will definitely come back.

Great old diner feel with down to earth authentic folks just grabbing some great food. Great coffee, great food, and the kitchen staff and cook make their personalities known too! Great place for breakfast.

This is a nice, little local restaurant in Benson, AZ. It’s nothing to look at from the outside but don’t let that deter you. The inside is cute & simple. The restaurant was clean. We were greeted promptly & our server, while not talkative(which is fine with us), was polite & took our order promptly. The food was delicious & the portions were a pretty good size. My husband had the bacon cheeseburger w/fries & I had the beef chimi w/rice & beans. We will certainly be back.

My son and I stopped in for a milkshake. There were pro-gun stickers on the door which made me a little uncomfortable but still we went in. Inside there was a wall hanging of a large breasted woman with the confederate flag covering her boobs which made me a lot uncomfortable. My son understands nothing about politics and I said nothing, but suddenly in the middle of his milk shake he said«let’s get out of here», he said he felt sick and didn’t even want to finish. We left and in the car he told me that when the waitress opened the kitchen door there was a large poster of a woman in midst of a sex act. I believe public places should be appropriate for children and for people who might disagree with racism.

My folks were there on July 3rd for breakfast. They sat down and waited but nobody came to their table; they were not busy. After 10 minutes, they left and had a great breakfast at the Farmhouse.

On our way from Phoenix to visit a friend, the three of us were road weary and hungry. We pulled off of Interstate 10 into Benson. Driving down the road, we passed McDonald’s and Taco Bell without batting an eye. Noticing the humble building and old-timey sign, we pulled in to Reb’s with high hopes. I myself opted for saltines and iced water. I was nervous about eating, as I had a bad case of «Mexico Gut.» I found the water to be refreshing. Cold and wet, just as I like it. However, the saltines were stale, and left much to be desired. My friend Sharon M., who is cool and gives useful reviews, had a waffle. She says it was OK, but the syrup in the Great Value bottle threw her for a loop, particularly the multiple hairs along the cap. My other friend Johnny D., who is not on Unilocal(yet), had the chicken fried steak. While he admitted it wasn’t the best, he cleaned his plate. We were not the least bit tempted to try the seafood omelet or shrimp cocktail. The highlight of our trip to Reb’s was their lovely bumper stickers. Mine is in my office at an Air Force base in Ohio. Johnny’s is on his guitar case. Sharon has unfortunately misplaced hers. She is inconsolable. While the food may not have been the best, the memory of Reb’s will be cherished for years.

The food was mediocre and service was bad. We went there for breakfast. My husband ordered the breakfast platter with 2 pork chops. When his plate came out the pork chops were literally one piece cut in half. I had the corned beef hash and it wasn’t that good. It tasted and looked like it came from a can. If you’re looking for a spot to fill you up and you don’t have high expectations then this is it.

The atmosphere is everything you could hope for. The food is exactly what you’d expect. There are joke books on the table. If you’re headed from Tucson to El Paso, it will get you by til your next meal.

I was down here by accident and really this place was my second accident of the day. I ordered the border skillet which sounds pretty good with chorizo, hash browns, peppers, eggs, tomatoes, and cheese. It wasn’t. The chorizo was flavorless and greasy. The cheese wasn’t cheese, it’s like that fake nacho cheese sauce the movie theaters buy by the gallon and the salty«I don’t have a name for this taste but it is bad» sauce is poured it all over your skillet. It just ends up a mushy mess. Coffee was definitely overpriced. They don’t accept amex. Staff was okay and the place looks clean.

Pretty authentic no none sense American diner. No frill, just good portions, reasonably priced and not over the top, but good customer service. Awesome place. Will definitely check it out again!

Wow, the food portion is huge! We ordered the banana boat, the Sundae, Onion rings and french fries with gravy. They were all in big portion and especially the desert, decorated with whip cream and sprinkles. You can just feel happy by looking at them, not to mention they are delicious! As for location, it is easily accessible just right off I-10. Five stars to this place!

It’s a nice little diner. I am never dissatisfied with my food, if you’re in town and you want to grab something to eat you won’t be disappointed if you decide to eat here.

How many times have I driven by the Reb’s Café on the way to all the great places in Southern AZ and never stopped? I always saw lots of cars and being from the South, the name captured my attention. I always just drove on by. Well, I finally stopped and ordered up a breakfast of a cheese omelet. It was pretty darn good. I noticed the serving was a bit small compared to other similar breakfast places but it was enough. The homemade biscuit came with gravy. The coffee was fresh. The service was friendly and the prices were fine. There’s much to keep you entertained while you wait to be served. Yes, John Wayne’s photo sits proudly on the wall. I can easily see why this would be a favorite hangout for locals. I would sure eat there again but I wouldn’t make a special trip to Benson to do it.
