I can understand that times are hard and sometimes finding a clinic that will accommodate to our needs within a nice price range can be quite hard but if you are considering going to this VNA location than I strongly suggest you sit in a corner and think for a minute. The receptionist/nurse with the piercings on her face is extremely rude and sits behind her computer like she’s above you. First of all, NO. Second of all, she and along with the other poor excuse of nurses make me question the educational system for nursing because I wonder how in God’s name did these employees become nurse’s. The doctors are very brief and in and out. I personally think they don’t give a flying fudge about you or your problems. I can’t help but feel like I am wasting their time whenever I come in and trust me when I say that I will no longer be back to that hole in the wall. If I worked my butt off to become a nurse and ended up working for a clinic like the VNA health care location in Bensenville, only to become a nurse like the so called nurses in there than I would just put a bullet in my head. Education wasted. I will NOT be back to this place and I sincerely hope that you keep this in mind if you’re thinking about going here. Please be aware and know that I warned you.

This practice was recommended to me by a nurse friend after I had bemoaned the fact that I needed a physical for RMA school but I wouldn’t be on my husband’s insurance until 9⁄1. That being said, I was still leery of the stigma attached to free or sliding-scale clinics. They tend to be dirty with out of date equipment and notoriously long wait times. Well, fear not — this place is great! The staff is warm and friendly, the waiting area is furnished with comfortable chairs, a flat-screen TV and(limited) reading material. There were two other people in the clinic when I went on a Friday afternoon and it took about 5 minutes to check me in and then another 10 for me to be called. The patient rooms are clean and the equipment is all new and up to date. I did wait about 18 minutes for Dr. Vilbar to come in my room but that’s only because he was in the next room listening to a young mother weep over her issues with breastfeeding(one downside: REALLY. THIN. WALLS) but I’m not going to fault him for that! He was very thorough in his exam, asking lots of questions about my health and family history and for only $ 30.00 paid at the time of the visit, I received a full exam, a tetanus booster and blood work.
