Moved to the Bensenville area about a year ago and have been looking for a place to get a haircut. I’ve been to Sports Clips and Hair Cuttery both did horrible jobs. Happy I found this place reasonable prices went in the morning no wait no appointment. Will definitely be the place I continue to go for my haircut.

It’s my new regular place since I moved. Graf on the walls, hip-hop whatever on the stereo, young dudes cutting hair. very reasonable prices.

Anthony is one of the most talented barbers I’ve ever been to. I wanted a very detailed graphic design and was concerned how it would turn out. Anthony exceeded my expectations. He was friendly and definitely knew what he was doing. I’ll come back to the Barbers Lounge to have Anthony cut my hair again.

Anthony and Ernesto were awesome. Eddy was also great, however, he took a bit too long at times(1 hour and 40 minutes). I was rejected a hair-cut at one point by the girl and the white guy with the beard when they were the only barbers around because it was 6PM, but the sign says they close at 7, so I was a bit disappointed. However, overall a good experience.

There are so many Puerto Ricans in this barbershop that I expect somebody to sit down next to me with a plate of pasteles while I’m waiting to get my haircut. There’s a sign on the door that says«walk-ins welcome». However, if it’s Friday or Saturday, it’s more like you’re welcome to wait your ass about two and a half hours. I would highly suggest going during the week when it’s less busy. I’ve came here for my last two haircuts and I intend to keep going. They’re reasonably priced and the barbers can cut. The walls are decorated with colorful graffiti art that would probably scare some white people into thinking they are gang affiliated. They always have satellite radio on, which is likely playing merengue, bachata, hip-hop, or house. They have TV’s that usually have Sportscenter on if there isn’t a game. I like that they have an adequate number of chairs for people to sit while they’re waiting. I only have one small complaint. These barbers take their sweet ass time cutting each and every individuals hair, which makes the waiting process seem ridiculously long at times. I dig the atmosphere. I needed a new go-to barbershop and I think I found it.
