Progressive Medical Center

This place has to be the most unprofessional clinic in the area. I called at 7am in the morning to make an appointment. First off as a clinical establishment that provides medical healthcare the 1^st priority of management should be to be there on time. Well turns out if the place is not open they prompt you to an operator that then tells you the place is not open. I called back at 7:35am and still no luck whatsoever. The operator then asked me if I wanted to leave a message which I did. (Never received a callback and it’s 11am.) I called back at 7:50am and finally was able to talk to someone. The lady then told me that there was no appointments available until Thursday. (Which I understood.) So after that it turns out they have a 2^nd location on Army Trail Rd. in Addison. I then proceeded to call that location because I missed work to go to the doctor. It then turns out that this place does not open until 9am!!! WTH! Who’s running these places??? I then called at 9am and was prompted me to the operator who then told me that they were not open yet. I called 4 times before 10:30am to see if they were open and received the same response all the times. I finally called at 10:35am and someone answered!!! Yes success right? WRONG!!! I spoke to the lady and she said they were booked until Thursday!!! I understood that part but then here comes the BEST PART!!! She told me that the one I originally contacted takes walk ins!!! This made me really mad because upon initial interaction the lady I spoke to in the 1^st office could of told me that. I understand the demand for patient care is high but if the lady would of communicated with me that they take walk ins I could of been in there since 8am and left already. Instead I am currently sitting waiting for approximately 1 to 2 hours! And it is currently 11:10am. I could of been resting in bed. I been here before and this is the 1^st time this unprofessionalism has happened. The only reason I am giving this place 1 star is because their doctors are great. Dr. Nunez is the best and really cares for his patient. I know me writing a review might not help many but please avoid this place at all cost. If your insurance covers somewhere else go there.
