Love love love this bar… Kind of a «Cheers» feeling. Even if you’ve never been there before. everyone know your name :) I love Ronda Jankers!

«3 Jays are who we thought they were»…a nice little dive bar with a gruff personality but still friendly enough to enjoy a Miller hi-​life while enjoying the persona of a true blue collar bar. Pretty sure ordering a fu-​fu vodka with a vos water isn’t in the vocabulary but a nice beer and a shot bar with attentive and friendly bar keeps makes this a place to visit when you are in Bensenville!

I agree with Peter P., this bar is a throwback, but in a good way. I literally was greeted with applause when I first stepped foot into this bar! No joke! But, it could’ve been because my girlfriend was already there waiting for me and had made friends with the regular locals there. lol! From what I saw, the staff was super friendly there and quick to ask me what I wanted to drink as soon as I sat down at the bar. Drinks were great and this bar just reminds me of a fun neighborhood/​hang spot. It’s right off the Metra train — about a one minute walk to get to. The place just has a lot of old-​school charm, character and history to it. The local regs there will freely tell you its history as well. Will definitely be back!

This small tavern on Green Street in Bensenville is certainly a throwback. It actually dates back to about 1924. It stands in the same location and has been continuously operating for 87 years! When prohibition was passed, the owners turned it into a grocery store and then returned it to its bar status upon repeal. It’s not much to look at, but it’s fascinating for its old, humble décor and its regular patrons. I suspect that it was a favorite of those who worked for the railroads, as Bensenville was a «train city» in the 40s and 50s. While much of Bensenville is changing, I hope this bar will stay in business. The service is friendly, the drinks are cheap and the nostalgic factor all add to its special status.
