Love the food! Fresh hand made! Good service! What else do you want! Had take out several times and eaten in for lunch. Haven’t been disappointed yet! Gotta try it!

Quite possibly the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. Salted Squid was more salt than squid to the point where the salt was salted. The fried Shrimp dumplings were more like fried shrimp wontons and had a bad after taste suggesting the oiled they were fried in probably wasn’t too new. The sizzling beef was a disappointment. Lastly we got a coconut/pineapple smootie that was basically ice wand watered down pineapple juice. Sucks paying good money for bad food but Chinatown or at least a few spots on Castor Ave in NE are worth the drive than the annoyance.

I never order Chinese food, but saw a variety of options on the menu and ordered hotel delivery while on business. Surprisingly, it arrived super fast and delivery guy was patient and friendly. The shrimp lettuce wraps have a unique texture and the peanut sauce is strong tasting, but good. The seafood pad Thai has large sized shrimps, lobster, a scallop, few peppers. Extra spicy is how I ordered, but don’t taste much heat. It is still good. I would recommend! I have not seen the establishment, so I cannot comment on it. Cheers!

This is a BRIGHTSTAR in indo cuisine. My family started coming here when they first opened and was so surprised at the caliber of food. Now instead of heading down to Chinatown and battle with parking we have excellent food Made fresh with no CANNED Veg that i notice with other places. Never had a bad meal and service is always with a smile.

Best Chinese in the area. My husband and I frequent here. The food is fresh and doesn’t have that greasy feel like other Chinese food does. Service is quick, they have a large restaurant area but normally only a couple booths are occupied as they do more delivery service. Highly recommended.

Really good Chinese food. The vegetable fried rice has big chunks of fresh veggies. Everything just seems fresher than your average.

Ordered avacado smoothy fresh and cool. Got Amazing chicken nothing of the sort. Was suppose to be homemade spicy sauce instead more if a sweet sauce. The price was wrong as the portion size was way off!’ More batter then chicken. If you like that sort of thing then by all means. Disappointed in food only fresh thing was the smoothy mentioned above and the fried noodles. No brainer to why the place was empty. One star cause service was good and again smoothy.

Have tried this place quite a few time for delivery. I get the same thing each time. Fried shrimp wonton and General Tso’s chicken. I decided to eat in this time. Ordered the same thing. I found it kinda odd that the fried shrimp wonton had a burnt taste to it. There was no appearance like it was burnt, just had that taste. So I received the General Tso’s chicken. That had a burnt taste to it too. I called for the waitress and informed her of this matter. I told her it taste like it was cooked in burnt oil. She told me it was fresh oil. I was thinking to myself fresh oil at 5pm. She said that multiple times that is was fresh. Then she walked away. I just left it be. I didn’t want to get into it with her because my daughter was with me. Poor customer service. Will not be bothered with this place again. Any other time it was fine. 3 stars just because the food is good except for this time. Also because of customer service.

it’s was literally 3:01 and I am ordering a big order and my very last order was a lunch special. The person taking my order said it’s too late for lunch special. Really? If their online web order actually worked, I would have gotten my order through.

This was my first time here and I was thrilled with the food and service, in fact so thrilled I actually took the time to write this. Why? Because when you find a hidden treasure I just have to share with everyone. I also must mention that this is my first review of anything. That is a big statement! I had the shrimp with lobster sauce with abundant and tasty shrimp. My son had the chicken teriyaki that was so tasty, I will have it next time we go. I am actually open and excited to try new Chinese food.

Food is good no other place around this area offers this type of chinese food. It’s not Chinatown, but its still decent. They changed the way the wontons are made since it first opened and not for the better. The rice dishes are what I would stick with.

I enjoy this place and would come back because the food is authentic and price is good. The premise is clean, spacious and has takeout option. The service is friendly and quick. Consider its location in Bensalem area, this place is a good find. I am only giving it three stars because I still need to come back more often and at different hours in the day. Oh and I recommend the shrimp dumpling soup and lobster in butter sauce.

I’m one of the regular customers at Hong Kong Star Noodle House when I’m traveling to New Jersey for business. I drive over 30 minutes to eat here with my coworkers. Why? Because it’s a place where I can get good authentic Cantonese-style Chinese food. In addition, the service is great. I understand that some people may not be used to the way they cook, because they have many dishes that are not your average American-Chinese take out food that you’ll find in many other places. However, the workers here are willing to listen! If you have any questions at all about how something is cooked, you should ASK. The owner will do whatever he can to make something that you like! I’ve talked to these guys a few times while there, and they’re more than willing to keep their customers satisfied. If you’re hesitant about trying new dishes, you can always go with some of their noodle dishes like their Beef Chow Fun. Otherwise, talk to them and see what they currently have as their specials. I’ve tried a variety of their dishes here, including their seafood dishes, their duck dishes, their noodles, their clay pot dishes, etc., and I have never been disappointed. Their restaurant is always kept clean, and their food is always fresh. I hope to keep coming here for many more months throughout the duration of my project!

HK Star Noodle house offers authentic Cantonese fare, something rare in the suburbs and previously unavailable in Bensalem. Not having visited Ting Wong in Chinatown for a couple months and going through severe Chinese roast meat withdrawal, I called up HK and ordered some roast duck over rice to go. The interior of the restaurant is spotless thus far, and a quick peek into the kitchen revealed everything is, for the most part, clean. Upon opening the takeout container I was pleased to see the duck was a beautiful golden brown with a thin, tasty glaze over top. The meat was very flavorful, tender, and juicy. I was disappointed to find the skin wasn’t crispy, but that was probably due to getting soggy in transit and not to improper cooking. The bok choy it was served with was steamed perfectly, and the white rice went well with the excess sauce/duck fat. The portion was on the small side for the $ 9 I paid, but I wouldn’t hesitate to come back here if I need a Cantonese BBQ fix and don’t feel like driving out to Chinatown. I look forward to trying more of this place’s menu with hopes that it’s similarly tasty.
